Great service. Celebrated my 91 year old grandfather being cancer free after 2 chemo visits.
Had reservations for a party of seven for a birthday celebration. We were seated immediately and attended to by the most excellent server, Maggie. This was our first time visiting so Maggie guided us through the menu. She made excellent recommendations and everyone was pleased with the choices. The steaks were perfect which is highly unusual for a seafood restaurant. The one vegetarian meal consisting of pasta and vegetable was top rate. Of course, the seafood was fresh and perfectly prepared. The desserts were also excellent and everything was plated and presented beautifully. These extra touches are appreciated. Maggie was so attentive and no one in our group ever had to ask for anything, again, highly unusual. This is a 5 star restaurant that we traveled more than two hours to try and we were not disappointed. I think when we return, we would love to repeat the exact same meals but there are so many choices that are probably just as wonderful!

My wife and I drove up to Peoria for a concert Friday night, and we had dinner at The Fish House. First, let me say our server, Katelyn, just might be the best server either one of us have had - anywhere, ever. I'm 56 years old and we've traveled quite a bit and eaten at quite a few restaurants, and Katelyn is truly one in a million. She knew the dishes well enough to describe them, and made some good recommendations. She was energetic, attentive, took her time with us and never made us feel rushed; she was very personable, and just really made it a really great experience for us. We can't say enough good things about her.As for the food, we started with some crab stuffed mushroom caps that came out piping hot and covered in cheese. OMG, were they good!Then we had salads, and Katelyn asked if I wanted blue cheese crumbles with my blue cheese dressing (to which I replied, "I want ALL your blue cheese crumbles!" LOL....) Katelyn didn't disappoint! The salad was perfect. For the main course, Katelyn recommended for me the Sweet Chili Thai Sea Bass - something I probably wouldn't have ordered, had Katelyn not described it well and sold me on it. And it was DELICIOUS! Quite possibly the best fish dish I've ever had! Seriously. I would have a hard time ordering anything else next time we're there. My wife ordered the Grouper Oscar, and it was really good too. She was very happy with it.We finished off with a slice of turtle cheesecake, and that too was delicious. For beverages, I had a couple cocktails including the Barrel Aged Black Manhattan. I was very impressed with it, and after Katelyn described how they make it, I asked her if they bottle it for sale. So she went and asked, and brought me back a bottle of it to bring home! So I had a couple more last night here at home. : ) If we find ourselves in Peoria again, I can't imagine eating anywhere else (and we'll be asking for a table in Katelyn's area if she's there)! It was a great experience and a great meal. We can't recommend The Fish House....and Katelyn....enough!
The worst meal I have ever ate and the most expensive!!! It was like they cooked my food in the microwave! How has this place stayed in business all theses years? Everything was over cooked and dry and very slow service we had a reservation at 7pm had to wait for a table hen we didn’t get our meal until 8:30 pm

Great food. Got the crab legs. They come pre split, so getting your meat out is simple. Girlfriend had chili Chilean sea bass. Comes with noodles similar to pad Thai noodles, really good. Also ate baked oysters, lobster bisque and crab turnovers.Because we are party animals we also had 4 martinis. Pomegranate, almond joy, Lemon drop and espresso, ive listed them from best to really good.
Great food and the service was outstanding !!!
This place is one of our regular places. Hardly ever lets us down. Drinks are always well made, food is consistent. I actually like the atmosphere, service is friendly.
Katelyn was an amazing server. I let her know tonight was special because I was treating my mom. She was sweet, detail oriented and so attentive. The meal was delightful and we were blessed to have Katelyn as our server. We will definitely be back; probably sooner than later!
