Excellent time. Service was great. Food was excellent. Best barbecue around this area. Sorry the one in Bloomington closed but will be going to Peoria to that on. Wish they had one here in Springfield. Great barbecue!!!
Service was great!!! The brisket was a bit fatty, but good. The chicken was delicious. The pulled pork was delicious. Cornbread muffins tasted a bit different than I remember. Not as sweet. Corn was delicious. Fries were great. The sauces were very tasty. Our server was fantastic. We went in about 800pm, then realized they closed at 900, but you would not have known. They treated us kind and never made us feel like we needed to rush or like we were keeping them from closing up. Excellent experience.
Food wasn't hot, it was warm. I don't know if they waited on all the food to get done because I was there with others and that could be the reason. The food was flavorful and taste great just wasn't warm and had several of them with upset stomachs.
Super unorganized. We were seated in a booth. No one ever came by to even ask what we wanted to drink, let alone take our order, so we left.
They have very good brisket. There are quite a few options for bbq sauces. They have awesome burgers.

Great restaurant with really great barbecue ribs. Very nice menu, with a wide selection of tasty food. Conveniently located right off War Memorial Drive at Grand Prairie, with plenty of parking. The staff is polite, courteous and attentive. Nice dining experience for the whole family.
got beef brisket, nothing but fat sent it back, still nothing but fat,they brought me out ribs instead fat and hardly any meat, corn was cold, sent it back,brought out hot corn, but no flavor, my fries were cold, place was busy, the food should b hot, poor quality of food, service was fine, overpriced for the quality, I use to work there back early 90's,and food was alot better, will not b going back, very disappointed!
My family went to your peoria location on mother's day 5/8/22 and had the worst experience we have ever had. To start we made reservations on Saturday 5/7/22 for a party of 10. When we arrived we were told by the "hostess" that she would get area ready in 10 minutes. 20 mi uses later I go to check and she informs me she gave it to another group. So she points about another table she will gibe to us when it's cleaned. 10 min later I see another group being seated at that table. I address the rude "hostess" and she makes excuse after excuse and gets a "manager " who tells me they don't really do reservations it's just call ahead. Is that not the same thing? I expalen to her he had been waiting 45 minutes on a reserve and you don't just seat other people.She gets another manager says he will get a table ready asap and apologizes and makes excuses that they had a rough day due to card machine being broken.To top it all off they were only serving as a buffet only at $28 per person, something never examined while making the reservation. The food was absolutely terrible and a manager never came by to check on us or offer any compensation for the inconvenience they put my family through.
The environment and experience were great and the food delicious highly recommend Famous Dave's if you're nearby.
