Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Ice Cream Shop

As good as it's always been ~ for over 5o-years!!

Young lady acted mad because she had to stand up and take our order! Then got it wrong and acted like it was our fault!I don't feel she wanted to be there and surely acted it!

CASH ONLY. Luckily my wife had a 20 so we didn’t have to learn anything about the service fees of the ATM on the side of the building. The soft serve and fries are pretty darn good. They make the fries after you order them so they come out hot and fresh.

This place is ridiculous trying to get waited on and getting your food. So you order and pick up at the same little dinky window. Employee is calling out the food order while people are walking up grabbing ( other people food) and calling out what it is. I don't want strangers handling my food. Then the napkins are on a pole right where everyone is standing " trying" to get order placed and order picked up. This place doesn't have frozen yogurt like most places. When kids cones slip out of their hands ,they don't replace them. Parents buy another one. Then I ordered a large cookie dough blizzard. The employee calls out ,2 large cookie dough blizzard. I said, I ordered one, not 2. Did you make me pay for 2. She rudely says " I don't know,I didn't wait on you". She looks at a piece of paper where orders are wrote down and said NO. But who really knows. I won't be back here anytime soon..

Amazing ice-cream..long queue and only cash accepted..?

This place is a Peoria institution, one I took my whole family to in the 90s as kids. The clown topped building has long been a staple of the area at the corner of War Memorial and Prospect and has generations coming back year after year. Great selection of food always. I hope its around for many more years!

It was just ok to me. Nothing to write home about. I'm aware that it is popular, but why? I had a chili dog and fries for lunch. Somewhat irritating with only one window open for a line of customers and the woman with her little girl taking way too much time to figure out what they want to order and the lady inside coddling them. When I was able to order it was prepared and in my hands very fast. The chili dog was good, but nothing special. You get a lot of fries for a small order. They were soft and fresh. At first I was pleased with the fries, but they seemed to leave some sort of aftertaste in my mouth. I personally prefer Wonder Dog in East Peoria. Just my opinion, but I'm sure there are plenty that won't agree. Isn't that what it's all about........choices.

Food is great and the staff is wonderful. Only thing I can't stand is this homeless lady that bothers everyone for drug money while we wait for our food. This woman has came up to me in my car in my own driveway. I've offered her food multiple times but she yells she needs money. We were about to stop at emos just now and my kids saw her again asking everyone for money do we didn't stop. Hopefully they do something about her

Always good treats. Lines kinda long. Well worth the wait.
