Hands down best BBQ in Central Illinois. The strawberry lemonade was so good! The brisket was the best I have ever had. The portions are generous! A tad pricey but the food was 100% worth the $$. The homemade pickles that came with the sandwich were unreal. I would buy those to take home if they were for sale! If I could give 6/5 stars I would. We will definitely be back!
Great BBQ and sides. I had a sandwich at their East Peoria location, so this time I tried their straight BBQ and wasn't disappointed. Well-smoked pulled pork and chopped brisket that isn't hidden behind a ton of sauce. Both were juicy and flavorful. The potato salad was good, but I particularly liked the jalapeno corn bread and the cheesy sweet corn.
First timer. Went to Campus Town location for lunch.Restaurant is located in a strip mall and looks small from the outside...this is not the case.It's a good sized restaurant with large tables and plenty of room.I ordered the smoked turkey club sandwich with Sante Fe slaw and sidekick had the brisket sandwich with Carolina slaw.Both came with homemade pickles.We decided to share each other's and give a review.Both sandwiches were very good, the brisket perfectly smoked, tender, and moist.However, the Turkey club was fantastic!The flavors of this sandwich blend perfectly.A must try.The homemade pickles have a unique taste and are good, but are spicy!You will not be disappointed here.
This place is so good. I’m glad it’s so close to home. We even had them cater our daughter and son-in-laws wedding celebration. Mmm. For a ”meat place” they also have great veggie options.
First Time eating at Dac's tonight with my oldest son. Everything from the initial call I made to see if we could get I'm to dining in was phenomenal. The girls were great on the phone and in person. The food was amazing! The prices were good and we even ended up with leftovers. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back. Also loved how quickly we were taken care of, especially on a Friday Night when we walked in starving and we walked out stuffed! Well done Matt and staff, well done!
4/5 for taste (in Peoria area)2/5 for valueThe rib tips are the best choice in the menu. The pulled pork plate runs small. The staff is friendly, but they didn’t check back to check whether everything was okay. Expect to have dinner for two around $40-$60

My wife and I ate at Dac's Smokehouse BBQ in Peoria this past Saturday as part of our wedding anniversary celebrations.Everything was wonderful!We started with the Brisket egg rolls. They came to our table hot and HUGE!Our meals were delicious!!The meat was tender and juicy.The fries were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.The cheesy corn was just plain TOO GOOD!!The staff was friendly and made sure anything we needed was taken care of promptly.We will definitely plan to go again and again!!!
My daughter and I went in for lunch today (Saturday). It was relatively slow as only 3 tables had customers already eating. We ordered the turkey dinner and 1/2 rack dinner. We waited almost 40 minutes for our meal, then the turkey was very dry and ribs had to be cut with a sharp knife. We were a little disappointed because we were looking for a barbecue restaurant for ordering big family meals. Hopefully this was just an off day and we may try it again.
