I was working in Peoria and we had heard good things about Cuco"s so we went for carryout. I can't really comment on the ambiance of the restaurant because we didn't dine inside. Cuco's has a variety of authentic Mexican food. I went with a grilled steak burrito which came with sides of refried beans and rice. Our food was ready when we arrived. My burrito was huge and had a plentiful amount of steak alone with rice, lettuce, and tomatoes. Everything I ordered was very good. Everyone enjoyed their food. If you're looking for some authentic Mexican food, don't overlook this hidden gem in the Sheridan Triangle.

My coworkers and I order lunch the other day and all I can say is the food was absolutely amazing!! Authentic Mexican cuisine made with love! There were so many happy faces as we ate lunch!! Highly recommend Chico’s Taco! Great price, amazing food and the staff is super friendly and amazing!!
Every time I come to peoria this is my go to spot for tacos. They are so good that I haven't even tried anything else. They are so friendly and welcoming.
Salsa was like water. Tacos were dry and full of fat. Not sure why Dacs recommends here? Lengua tacos were tough . Steak was inedible. Al pastor was decent.
Excellent food and service. My new favorite Mexican restaurant. They have true authentic food and the chips are great too. I had pastor which was perfect on a torta.
My family and I went there, we get excellent food, the owner is kind and nice, very good food, excellent Horchata, good tacos and fresh made guacamole.Fresh tres leches dessert.
Called in to ask if they had Birria tacos for my girlfriend. Lady told us that they do, we told her we'd call right back to place a to go order which she said was fine. We called back multiple times but it seemed like the line was blocked/disconnected. Tried for 15-20 minutes. So we end up driving there to order on the spot. Ordered a steak and chicken burrito with rice & beans and my girlfriend had 3 birria tacos. The tacos we're inedible thanks to the congealed cheese in them. She was complaining so I had to try for myself and I tell you when I took a bite every other ingredient broke down EXCEPT for the cheese. It was horrendous, like a piece of rubber!! We both tried our rice which tasted WEEKS old, dreadful. The only saving grace here at all was the burrito that I had ordered. It was exceptional throughout top to bottom, and the refried beans were a little soupy... but excellent flavor so I chalk those up as a win as well! Now I'm fine with restaurants being rough around the edges but to charge $15 for 3 tacos is just pure insanity. We paid nearly $40 for one bomb burrito, old stinking rice, decent refrieds and 3 tacos for the dogs. We will not be back as we never felt welcome from start to finish and were extremely disappointed with our food... there are PLENTY of Mexican restaurants in Peoria, go give those a shot instead.
The food and service is fantastic. Had dinner here with my family for the first time today and everything was delicious! Our new favorite spot for authentic Mexican food.
THE BEST in town. I got the delicious horchata and asada burrito it was loaded. So good. Partner got a chorizo and picadillo taco. We ate inside and were greeted by the friendly owner and chefs! Also received yummy chips and salsa upon sitting down. Will be coming here often and can’t wait for the next visit!
