Amazing food, friendly service. The waitress went out of her way to make me some awesome sweet tea! The bacon and eggs were perfect! I'm not sure what kind of bread they have, but the toast was fantastic also!
Large menu full of interesting, great tasting food, including lots of nice gluten free options. Have had 2 great experiences here. Loved the taco salad.

On Mother's Day, service was SLOW, food terrible, noisy. I had chicken and waffles. Chicken was dry, overcooked, tough and waffle was cold. After such a long wait at least expected the food to be good. Don't know why, had the same experience at the Grand Prairie location about a year ago. That's why I never went back. This time, my friend wanted to go there so thought I'd give it another try. Prices are also high. Also, I used the restroom and had to wait for the 1 person restroom in a kitchen type area. Very bad set up.
I would highly recommend Childers catering services. The food was incredible and the service was outstanding. The food was delivered to our house and set up. The caterer stayed to make sure everything was perfect. Will definitely have them cater an event again.
I had shrimp and grits. There was too much red sauce and I wouldn't liked more grits but overall it was very tasty.
Almost everything was great. A bit too much butter when they cooked the eggs. You could see the excess form a little pool on the plate. Other than that nice atmosphere and decent staff.
If you're wanting Childer's, don't go to 3312 University. Worst service and management. Raw bacon, no apologies, nothing. Manager gave us the wrong name and number to call, gave us HER name and number. Joint was a hangout. There were very few people, waited 15 mins for a server whom we flagged down. I could keep going.
Great place!!! The smoothies are so yummy and cute. The coffee comes in a self serve pot that they refill. The meals were great. The portions are great. The staff was great.
Absolutely love their gluten free options! Sincerely the best gluten free pancakes ever!
