A family favorite for brunch and the staff are always so friendly and delightful. I enjoy the options the menu have to offer. The chai is a go to and the mascapone toast is now a new favorite I keep trying to recreate at home. My husband loves the baker's breakfast with the traditional offerings. I try to pick new a different option on the menu because they all look delicious. We have never had a bad experience here.

I chose Childer's catering for my wedding reception and it was amazing! Derrick was incredible to work with throughout the entire planning process - so organized and professional. We were able to do a tasting and that helped a lot. The food at the wedding was seriously so good - we were so happy with the quality for the price! The service was also amazing. Everyone was so kind and professional, I didn't worry about the catering once all night! I would 100% recommend!

Went here for breakfast with my mom and stepfather, it was my first visit but one of their favorite places to eat. We were seated quickly, the waitress was nice, and the food was good.

2nd time coming to Childers in Grand Prairie. Childers as an establishment is amazing however this location has always been awful for me. Today I came to get a mimosa and a Peorias Best Breakfast. Nothing too fancy. However, I got seated in the worst possible booth there was and after being seated, I waited about 10-15 minutes and no one came to take my drink order or my food order. The host made eye contact and I know since I’ve been a host, that usually means find my server. She quickly looked away and continued rolling silverware. I eventually got up and told the host I was leaving because no one came and took my order. All she responded with was “okay! Sorry! Have a good day!” WORST service ever. Will never visit THIS location again even though it is ( minutes from my home. I would only recommend Junction City or University Street. Who ever my server could’ve been, probably missed out on the best tip of the day considering I’ve been in their position and I love blessing people unexpectedly. Childers is a great place to eat with great food. The service just sucks at the Grand Prairie location.

Went to Junction City restaurant. Love it! Busy but clean...the servers were fast and gracious....food was excellent. Has a bar and the menu is very well rounded.

Not very many cheap options for breakfast, but the food was excellent. I purchased a breakfast burrito with hash browns for $12. The burrito was quite good and very filling. The waitress was very attentive and did a great job. Just keep in mind that this isn't a cheap breakfast joint. Also factor in a tip.

We love visiting Childers, service is always great and speedy. Food is consistently good and there's plenty of interesting and creative things to try on the menu. Childers really sets itself apart.

The Cobb salad was amazing! The server was anazing as well! I recommend ya'll sure try it

This place is delicious. There are a couple issues here though. When I order an omelette, I want an omelette. When I order a frittata, I want a frittata. With the two things being sold on the menu, with the distinction, I assume y’all know the difference. Omelette has the ingredients wrapped in egg, not cooked into the egg. Frittata has the ingredients cooked into the egg. Also, 3 out of the 4 guys in the kitchen were not wearing masks. My wife is high risk, and I appreciate the kitchen staff doing what is expected. Like the food, but not sure I’ll be back.

Biscuits and gravy are the best! Always a fantastic breakfast here, you wont be disappointed
