The catfish fillets were good but I didn't like the cornmeal breading and not a fan of the fries. Wish options were available but it seems to work and I'm only one person.
I tried JJ's for the first time today. My order was ready on time, the staff was friendly, and the food was nice and hot. I ordered some dark meat and fries. The portions were plenty for one person, and the flavor was phenomenal! I'll definitely be going there again.
THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER ATE THE FOOD TASTED LIKE IT WAS STRAIGHT UP ROLLED IN SALT AND THE LIVER AND GIZZARDS WAS TOO.CHEWEY I WILL NOT RECOMEND THIS TO ANYONE
I think this is the BEST CHICKEN I / WE ever had! Seriously fried hard juicy crispy.. I'm actually mad I didn't get a 15 piece ? .. salute to the cook!
I was really surprised at the volume of food these guys and gals crank out. And it smells so good in there! Good job!
We love this place. Never had an issue and if there ever was one, they would resolve it kindly as I have witnessed them replace a mistake or try to resolve a complaint while I was waiting for our food in the past. The flavor is unique to other chicken and we prefer it. The price is right and its made fresh too. Decent staff, polite and helpful.
As a Door Dasher I've rarely had an order that I've picked up when it was slow and after smelling their delicious fried food I finally caved to see what makes their food so popular. I don't remember the exact time I went here other than it was after 10:30am but before noon and I got there right before the rush started for the day as their wasn't too many orders when I walked in , but in the 10-15 minutes that I waited they had about 3-5 walk-ins and two Door Dash orders. Due to how busy it gets and the fact theirs no indoor dining, I highly suggest placing orders before going in or ordering through Door Dash. Since I never had their fish or chicken before I ordered a sampler and some extra not knowing what to expect. The walleye and catfish fillets were surprisingly very fresh and juicy and their wings were huge and the hot sauce was definitely hot! The seasoned fries were good as was the hush puppies. I feel though the biggest drawback is lack of options for wing flavors, seasonings, and they only come breaded. The fish though I don't think I could tire of as easily, because not too many places offer catfish and walleye fillets year-round.
Ordered chicken livers. They kinda tasted off a bit. 30 minutes later. Felt sick. Had to poke my finger down my throat to throw up. Won’t be back!
Fish was good didn't like the fries but fries has to be right out the fryer for me to like them
