Owner beats women and underpays bands. Will agree to pay a low amount and then try to weasel out of it after you play. Sells counterfeit merch of bigger bands to undercut them.
Always love visiting. I moved to Peoria but I still make a trip over just for Twisted Spoke. If you haven't tried their food yet you are definitely missing out.
Went to see some bands and missed dinner to help them load in. After, I ordered a Fat Boy Body Bag and fries. The bartender was outgoing and friendly and the food was amazing! I usually hesitate to eat bar food, but I'm looking forward to hitting the Spoke again!

Great venue to catch live music. One of the few places in Central Illinois that still supports local music while also bringing in national amd touring acts from all over the country. Best atmosphere to see live music and chat with other local musicians who are out supporting love music. The food is also great, which is a definite plus! Good food isn't something you'd normally associate with a club that caters to live music of all kinds like the "Spoke" is known for, near and far.
