Can’t imagine how this place gets above .2 stars unless friends with the owner/staff. Had a gyro sandwich not off the spit - mushy and tasteless. Friend had small tenderloin- not impressed. Fries were tasteless. My curiosity about this place is satisfied.

SO IF YOU'VE HEARD ABOUT MISSY'S CAFE BUT YOU'VE NEVER EATEN THERE IT'S DEFINITELY SOMEWHERE YOU WANT TO GO EAT AS A MATTER OF FACT I HIGHLY SUGGEST / RECOMMEND IT!!!!!! Great food I had breakfast bacon was cooked them way I asked and so were my eggs. Very short wait time.
I have eaten there many times since my sister moved to Pekin. I have never had a bad meal and always have to take excess home. the picture of that tenderloin was one tenderloin. I think it was $9.95 and obviously I took most of it home. I would recommend anybody who likes home style food to try this place out. it's a small Cafe kind of a mom and pop shop. I had the chicken tenderloin horseshoe. It was amazing! Topped will a nice portion of French fries with cheese. Delicious. I recommend this place to anyone for an anytime meal. I must say I also sampled their homemade chilli and vegetable soup. Delicious.
Great little diner in Pekin. Don't expect much flash and spectacle but the people are very kind and the food is great.We can only vouch for the breakfast and desserts.We can't be enough of the skillets and waffles.Our favorites are the gyro skillet and the corned beef skillet
