Spent some money on a feast for a rehearsal dinner last Friday. Food was ready when we arrived on time, they loaded it all in the van. Seemed great until we removed the lid of the lasagna and saw the entire pan was very overcooked, cheese and edges were blackened. When we cut through it and started serving we could see the entire bottom layer was burnt, the meat texture overdone and dry. Very disappointed they would let that obviously overcooked food leave their store for an event. The pan cost $95. Before you pay for your food, take a look at it. If I had known, I would have left that there.
I wish all la gondola locations were like the bartonville, Illinois location. Got food from the Pekin, Illinois location and my goodness what a difference and not in a good way. The spaghetti was great, hence the 2 stars but the bread in garlic ot torpedo form was so still and didn't seem fresh but very different from the bartonville location. This was awful and reheating was worse. Can the locations coordinate?
They have the best red sauce I've ever had.

Just got a chef salad from you. The lettuce is barely edible. Too much cabbage. This was my first time trying you and I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. I doubt I will be coming back.

Have yet to find anything that I do not like or care for from this place. Well, except diet soda. I recommend the Pizza Burger and a couple of their Chocolate Chip Cookies. Now those things are actually in a completely different league of their own. Girl running the counter could put on a smile. But I am sure the volume of customers is just plain mind blowing. Anyways stop reading and just "Go"! Thank me later.
Be buying spaghetti from here for years! Always got the half gallon. Decided to try the half gallon ravioli for a lunch event and sadly it comes only 2/3 full at best. Called and the manager just said that’s the way it has always been. Told me if I wanted to get a small order to make it a true half gallon that I would have to buy more! ?♀️ Anyone else think that’s a rip off??? Sad customer service and very disappointed!!
