We had one of the best meals last night from Gianni's of Palatine the food was great! Also our waitress did a wonderful job. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

From the time we arrived until we left everything was great. We arrived early for our reservation but we were seated immediately. Our server was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the fried calamari as our appetizer and it was cooked to perfection and delicious. My husband ordered the mushroom soup (with sausage) and the sea bass dinner. Our daughter ordered a pasta dish and so did I. All the dinners were delicious. The only negative comment I have is that either smaller plates should be used for the salads or the plates they are using should be filled. Lettuce isnât expensive so it wouldnât cost Gianniâs a lot to fill the plate so it doesnât look like they are serving half a plate of salad. This certainly didnât ruin our experience. Itâs a suggestion that will provide a better presentation of the side salads. We have dined here previously many times and will definitely return. Gianniâs never disappoints.
Huge portions and delicious food! Everyone said theyâd order what they chose again, and only one of us finished, everyone else had to get a box, they do not skimp on portions. Will definitely be returning. Wait staff was super attentive and very friendly.
Food is always excellent - service was a little slow as the kitchen was backed up.
