I was referred here by one of my patients for the best burgers in the area. Well, I would have to agree! The burger options are very simple but very effective! Their beef patty is so juicy. We also tried some of the other foods. We were also very surprised with the ribs. The meat just falls off as soon as you touch it. Now that's ribs done right. You can't go wrong with any side but I strongly recommend the chips as your side. Coleslaw that comes with the meal is hands done the best. Within a 3 weeks span I have come twice both times were outstanding. The patient who referred me said that there usually is a long wait during the typical busy times. I got lucky both times and was and to get a table immediately. Definitely will keep coming.
Nice looking place. My wife was very excited to try this new place for us as we are new to the area and don’t get out much. We were sat very promptly by a nice hostess and then ignored by the servers for 15 minutes while they both visited the three tables around us. A simple hey folks we will be right with you. Nope, looked at us and just walked by. My wife ended up giving up and asked to leave to try a different spot. Completely understand being understaffed these days but an acknowledgment goes a long way!
We had a really great time having our lunch in this restaurant. I went with my family and it is my first time in this restaurant. At first, I really thought it was just a house just by the looks of it but I was wrong. The door is so small that I thought it would be a small place but when I went inside, it is actually spacious than I expected and the interior looks nice and as well as the vibe. The staff immediately went to our table and she was so friendly and attentive. I only wanted a burger so I ordered a bbq burger and fresh cut for sides. The service was literally quick because it did not take long for the food to be served in our table. My burger was huge and the fries are handful. I honestly love my bbq burger because it is just basically so good and the fries are crispy and kind of soft when I bite into it and I like it it is well-seasoned as well. All in all, I enjoyed my food and my family seems to enjoy their food as well. On our way home, we are talking and planning to be back because there is so much to try in the restaurant when it comes to their food.Service: 10/10Food: 10/10Ambiance: 9/10
A small neighborhood place, emphasis on the small.
What's not to like??. Amazing food, outdoor year round patio, cozy ambiance and friendly service. Some of the best burgers and ribs in the Chicagoland area. Hand cut fries and homemade chips are amazing too .
Great food (especially the cheese curds!), fun atmosphere, and good service for the most part - could be better, but the majority of the staff is friendly and helpful. Would be nice if they'd expand outdoor seating to accommodate the large summer crowds and keep wait times down, but the city/county may have some restrictions making that difficult. Overall, good place to grab a bite.
Food was excellent, however service was poor. When we went to pay the bill, we paid in cash. Our waitress never returned our receipt or change. When we asked, she just brought back the receipt but no change. When we requested the change back from another server, our server brought the change with an attitude. We left a full 20% tip, however on our way out, when we said goodbye to the staff, everyone was friendly except our server which proceeded to ignore that we were there. I wish I would have turned around and taken back the tip I left. I would not recommend going to this location if you want good service.
Amazing burgers and a great outdoor dining area. Only reason for 4 stars is because of the indoor area; it is so dark it feels like you are in a cave. When we go, we make sure it's nice for sitting outside, or we take home.
Try the maple old fashioned. Great burgers. Excellent service. Wings were pretty good too.
Had expected a lot more from this place. We recently moved to the area and were hoping for it to be really good since it seemed to always be packed when we drove by. Got the daily soup, which ended up being pretty good, but when we got to the main meal it was extremely unseasoned and disappointing. We got a sunrise burger and chicken sandwich. The chicken barely had anything that we had asked for on it and the burger was, to say kindly, sub-par. Our water was dirty. Definitely will not be coming back.
