Ordered food for delivery through UberEats...They were out of the chocolate cake shake, so I asked for a strawberry instead, and they gave me a vanilla shake. My order was missing SEVERAL items. A burger, an order of cheese fries and a tamale. The onion rings and fries were both over cooked, hard and burned. I spent 30 mins and 3 phone calls later with UberEats trying to rectify the issue. By the time I got to my sandwich, it was ice cold. We hadn't been to Portillos in YEARS and decided to splurge for our 12 year anniversary, should have just made dinner at home.
Food is good. It’s always busy here. Great place for family dinner! Quick date night. Tons of celebrities have been here for not just the hotdogs but the famous Italian roast-beef dipped!
Woozer!! First time here. Was told it was a must. Did not disappoint. The beef was amazingly tender, juicy and delicious. The cheese fries were good and the chocolate cake shake was out of this world. ( a shake made with a piece of cake) Service was fast and very friendly. How do more people not know about this place?? If you get the chance try the food here. This is gonna be a place I stop at every chance I get.
10/10 quality Portillo’s experience! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We went at the busiest time of the day and still got our food very fast. If you are visiting the Chicagoland area this is definitely a place you need to visit!
The facility was in excellent working order, and the staff was attentive and caring. Of course, the food was outstanding. I ordered the meat combo bowl (i.e. no bread) that includes Italian beef and Italian sausage; I added chili peppers.
You don't know what you got till it's gone. Since we moved to Kansas city 7 years ago we make every attempt to stop here for the great beef and Italian sausage. We always bring a bunch back to Kansas city for the rest of the family. It's a Chicago staple!
Everytime i come to the portillos is oswego they are rude and snooby, order is never right and im treated like its my fault. The sign at the window is comical.Update was be rated by the apparent manager on shift how I ordered wrong when their speaker doesn't even work and they have nobody outside to take orders with a not functioning speaker.
Fantastic experience everytime we go! Food is always ready quickly and accurately. Aswell as the employees are very friendly. The only thing I will ever complain about is that the coke doesn't have enough syrup, it could have a bit more flavor to it.
Ordered a grilled chicken Ceasar salad from this location last night. For what we have to pay for your food, I am beyond disgusted that your location felt a half full bowl and rotten lettuce was worth the almost $10 I paid for the salad. Ridiculous. Do better
Ever since Portillo’s was sold it has turned into the worst restaurant in Oswego! The service is TERRIBLE! Especially the drive thru! The new owners should be embarrassed! Our order has been wrong every time! We have given them chance after chance but we are done! Also my husband had to go into the restaurant to have them fix our order that was wrong and he could see into the kitchen. He said it was disgusting! Food and garbage all over the floor and counters. Sorry Portillo’s, you have lost customers for good! And I know we’re not the only ones who feel this way. I ‘ve heard from many people how horrible the Oswego Portillo’s is. Used to be one of the best fast food restaurants around. No more!
