Just received our meal from here for the last time. We have never seen a restaurant go downhill so fast. The kids meals were burnt, my wife’s meal was completely wrong (legitimately not the correct meal) and my burrito was literally a tortilla filled with ground beef and no sides. Save yourself the hassle, anything is better than this place.
Our two meals were done in ten minutes. A very bland tasteless sauce was thrown on the meal. Tasted like it was old. Never had this experience at the Oswego Illinois location.
We like ordering 5 soft and five hard shells. Taste was very good.
I used to be a big fan of PePe's in Oswego, IL. I never experienced any problems any of the time's that I had previously eaten there. On December 22, 2021 that all changed. We chose Pepe's because we hadn't been there in a while. What a big mistake. It took a ridiculously long time to get our food. I ordered enchilada's suiza, my son ordered Nacho's and his girlfriend ordered a burrito dinner. All of our food was either warm or cold. $51.90 was our total bill for cold food . I will never eat there again. Very disappointed! ?

Ordered take out tonight. 3 seperate orders all 3 had stale tacos. Park of the meal that was good was the chips and salsa. Very disappointed.
It's not real Mexican food as some say but it is good. I have been eating Pepe's since I can remember and love that any Pepe's I go to has the same taste. The Pepe's in Oswego though has been my go to lately. Friendly staff and great food.
Tried the guisado de res. Pretty damn good I'd say. Never had it before...server was great, chips were warm and as always the salsa was great
Can always count on a good meal from here. Sure there’s been a few mixups, but nobody’s perfect. We’ll be regulars till their doors close.
Food was okay. Tortillas easily fell apart. Be sure to check your order on take out, forgot almost 1/2 my meal. Probably won’t be back, to many other good local Mexican Restaurants to choose from in the area.
