Great breakfast but for some reason won't answer their phone on the weekends which makes it impossible for ordering a carry out breakfast because it's always crowded. I'm guessing losing over a thousand bucks every Saturday from not being equipped to take carry out calls. I really hope they fix this issue because I'm starving and would love to call in breakfast for my family.
OSWEGO FAMILY RESTAURANT used to be one of our favorite restaurants to have a reasonably priced meal but not anymore! Yes, they have daily specials but close at 2pm? What? No more dinners? I called them up various times and they seem just happy to cut the hours and eliminate the dinner menus. It’s not as though there wasn’t a crowd in the evening because there were times we had to wait in line for a seat! So, bottom line is, the days where you could sit down for an elegant evening meal are gone! They are losing business and don’t seem to care. The daily afternoon specials aren’t making the difference to come in before 2pm.
A wonderful family owned diner in the heart of downtown Oswego. A friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and a great breakfast and lunch menu will make you a repeat customer. The restaurant prides itself in making everything themselves so that it’s fresh. Make sure to have cash on hand as they do not take credit or debit cards.
A small yet cozy place. All the staff were very friendly. I had a burger, and it was huge (more importantly, it was good too)!However, they only cash or check.
