After the Straight No Chaser concert in Aurora, my friend and I were hungry for someplace nearby but not close to the venue. Danelli's popped up in our restaurant search, and I'm so glad it did!Danelli's is a small family restaurant. The place is clean and cozy. I used to work at a restaurant, and my manager taught us to deep clean weekly. Every time I walk into a place, I immediately look at the vents, lights and corners. EVERYTHING was spotless.When we walked in, we were immediately and warmly welcomed and told to sit wherever we liked. The menu made my mouth water. My friend and I ordered the lasagna and thoroughly enjoyed it! The lasagna had oodles of ricotta and mozzarella cheese with the perfect amount of Italian sausage, sauce and wonderfully firm noodles. The cheese sizzled on our plates. The dish was about 3" tall and 6" square; we had to take half our dinner home so we could make room for dessert. My friend enjoyed the salted caramel gelato, and I savored the chocolate covered cannoli-made with ricotta cheese, as God intended. (My meal cost $23.41.)Even though Danelli's is small, it's wonderfully quiet and congenial. We were allowed to take our time during our meal, and the staff seemed happy we were there.
Six of us tried this place for the first time last week. Between all of us, we ordered a variety of food and sampled each other’s food: pizza, pasta, sandwiches, calzones. The general consensus was three stars, nothing horrible but nothing spectacular either. I would say the same about the service- friendly but slow. Cannolis we’re good!
This is a family restaurant that has delicious food and makes sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. The Lasagna and stuffed shells were fantastic, next time we are going to try the sandwiches. Very clean seating area with great service.
I wasn't impressed especially for the prices. The pasta was edible but nothing deliscious. I wouldn't go back.
Great 1st experience! The califlower gluten free crust is amazing. I had the veggies and they were very fresh. The restaurant was extremely clean. My waitress tonight was beyond sweet & attentive. Great 1st experience. My son loved his pizza. He said the sausage was great.
If I could give 0 stars, I would!! Horrible food and way over priced. Ordered the stuffed shells that costed $18 to only get 3 shells? Not to mention the sauce was beyond salty. Also ordered chicken parm that was extremely salty. Everything was overly priced for the small portions we received. Staff was a little rude, but the only positive thing was the owner was very friendly. 0/10 do not recommend this place!!!
yes they bring it here! their marinara is beyond incredible add the meat then they will smother a nice piece of lasagne in gravy bake it with the good stuff cheese incredible!!! every time i walk in that place everyone is having a great time guests and help i think you meed to travel way towards the city to get italiam this good
If I could give no stars I would! Food was EXTREMELY over priced and not good at all. Ordered the Chicken parmigiana and it was soooo salty can’t taste anything but salt I couldn’t even feed it to my son bc of how salty the sauce was! Do not recommend at all. Very upsetting and spent so much money on food we didn’t even eat.
Great Place to go to, great service, great food, I highly recommend, the plates of food are size for 2 people we got their lasagna and chicken parmesan very delicious, definitely be back to try other food!
