This place has gotten so much better. I think they got a new manager. Mac N Cheese used to take 30 minutes to prepare for a pickup order made inside the restaurant 4-6 months ago. Last two visits these last few weeks i had my mac n cheese within 5 minutes. They are getting better!
When did Panera Bread get this bad?? I haven't ate at a Panera Bread in years but recalled they always had really good salads and sandwiches.... well not anymore!! I ordered the BBQ Salad and Signature Chicken Sandwich. The BBQ Chicken Salad was the driest salad I've had in years, with no flavor, uniqueness or complexity to it (more sauce couldn't even save it). Might as well buy a to-go supermarket salad with BBQ sauce... you'd enjoy it more. And why were there potato chips in my salad??? The $11 Chicken Sandwich was dry AF too. Completely not worth it! Wish I could go and get a full refund. SO disappointing.
There are so many areas in which this Panera location fails. This is a brand new facility. Parking is a nightmare due to so many restaurants and drive-thrus. The parking area is a disaster. New facility is very sterile looking. The high ceilings make it noisy and difficult to have a conversation. The old location had a more homey feeling. Many times no one is behind the counter to take orders, sometimes over 5 minutes. On 6/25/22 and 7/2/22, I was sort of waited on by Yusuf. He asked no questions, even though the item had different choices for bread, how eggs were cooked, and whether it was dine-in or take-out. I kept supplying answers to questions he should have been asking. He just sort of stood there and said very little. There have been too many occasions at both the old and new locations where the coffee (from the urns) had floating coffee grounds in it. It seemed that at both locations the coffee urns were empty way too often.Back in January 2022 there were at least 2 times when the dining area was closed. When i asked why, the associate told me it was because they were short staffed and then she rolled her eyes. One time I was told to use the drive-thru because they couldn't take my order at the inside counter. One day both the drive-thru and the doors to get inside to place an order inside were closed. This was during normal business hours on a non-holiday day.
if I could leave zero stars I would. The service we received was beyond disrespectful. The young lady who served us had disgusting attitude. When I received my meal I was greeted with terrible attitude. i waited to get home to eat my meal and started off with the chicken noodle soup. It was beyond salty, like drinking the atlantic, the chicken in it had a green tint. The iced tea i received to attempt to wash away the soup was beyond disgraceful to my tastebuds. so lastly i moved on to the grilled cheese. No way you can mess up a grilled cheese right? WRONG! HOW DO YOU LEAVE A PIECE OF PAPER IN A DAMN GRILLED CHEESE LIKE COME ON. So to conclude, this business should be closed.
Just want to give thanks where it’s due and big thank you to Megan @ this location! Had an order delivered and we suspect the delivery driver took the bag of the side baguettes out of our bag before being delivered. We were a little bummed since my coworkers and I love the bread! She did her best to make it right especially since it is a third party that does the delivering and she checked the bag before it went out. I know it’s hard working in customer service right now, especially involving food and delivery orders so I just want to say I appreciate your dedication to making the customer experience a great one!
Ordered a Greek salad from here and they literally put 6 pieces of lettuce, 2 tomato’s, and some sauce. So many ingredients were missing. I had work so I couldn’t bring it back that moment but when I got off of work I went to go ask for a refund because I’m not going to pay $11 for a few pieces of lettuce and tomatoes. When I went back the lady at the drive through window was SOOOO rude. I was being so nice about it and she accused me of eating it when all I did was pour the sauce on there. Then she proceeded to say there was nothing she can do about it, I had my receipt and the food was barley touched? What do you mean there’s nothing you can do. Then she slams the window door huffing and puffing and just gives me another one?? Like I don’t want free food sweetheart I want my money back. Please do yourselves a favor and do not go to this pathetic location. Even the parking there is complete chaos.
Most places are short staffed so I totally understand and have patience knowing how hard it is, yet I was still provided with great service. My mobile order came out pretty quickly, around 5 minutes which I expected to be longer especially since there was a lot of people waiting for their food and it was a Saturday. I was impressed and everything tasted delicious. I made a request on my order also and they followed through with it by putting certain ingredients on the side and I was pleased! One of the workers was also super nice and friendly who gave me my order! It speaks volumes when it’s busy yet you can still remain calm, professional, and make others feel good.
Before Panera was moved to the new location up LaGrange Ave, and a little after, we have been very happy with our orders from them. Now, for the past couple of months, there seems to be less overall quality-control, since unless we are ordering just a small or large soup/mac, sometimes *something* is made incorrectly or an item or modification is completely forgotten about with our orders. Personally, I have shrugged it off as honest mistakes, as this happened every couple of orders. The final straw was when I ordered the Signature Take Chicken sandwich. I had ordered this sandwich twice before, with the Apple BBQ sauce and Hummus added and it quickly became my favorite food item from Panera. This time, however, the sandwich I got did not come with wrapping, and there was tuna added to it instead of hummus. The sandwich was also a bit cold, like it had been sitting out a while, where the last two times I got this sandwich, it was nice and hot. I either got someone else's sandwich by mistake or someone wasn't paying attention to what they were adding. I only took a few small exploratory bites of the sandwich after reheating it, and felt very sick a couple hours later.I called the store to inform them that this had happened, but was told by a rep that there's no way someone had put tuna on the sandwich. I explained that I know how the sandwich is supposed to taste, I know what Hummus tastes and looks like and it does not have that distinctive fish-and-relish smell or flavor, and above all, does not contain chewy bits of tuna. They offered to refund the sandwich, which is fine. I do not believe that I will order anything besides soup/mac from them for a long while, though.
Been way for 20 minutes in drive thru for a cup of soup. By the time it was my turn I had to leave because I had an appointment that I would be late for. Panera needs to take a look at how Chik-Fil-A and Portillo’s really n their drive thru.
No point of having an option take off ingredients if they never pay attention to order requests
