We love this place. A great selection of food, great drinks and great service. If you are not sure what dessert to get we highly recommend the fried bananas!
Nice spot to get off the road if you were just car shopping in the area or just out and about..great food and drinks! The staff service is excellent I will definitely be back again..great job guys??
Fish was way overcooked, flavor was good but the mango topping was cold which made the hot overcooked snapper cold. Drinks - they are expensive and tiny, jalapeno margarita was not spicy at all didn't even taste any jalapeno. Advise- muddle jalapeno! Cantarito however was pretty good!
Steak tough dry and chewy. Not authentic Mexican food. Pretty much something I could have thrown together quickly at home. Save your money and go somewhere else.
The food was not that great. Saw very good reviews so I had to try it.Tge waitress was very nice..The food is ok but not authentic. The tortillas were warmed up in the microwave . And we never got any salsa to put in tacos .The orchata or rice water had no flavor..So the food wasn't bad but for the name thought it would be more fresh and authentic.
1/7/2022 When we walked in to the restaurant my husband read a sign they had on the front of the hostess stand which said “Happy New Year!” The hostess never even responded, she never smiled, just looked at us and said “How many?” We had a party of 3, it was my husband, my 21 year old son and me. We sat at a booth and were greeted by the waitress who asked us what we wanted to drink. I ordered a diet pop and my son and husband ordered a beer. The waitress carded my son, which was perfectly fine. He showed her his Illinois State Driver’s license. Which has an expiration date of June 2022-and because he had just turned 21 on December 18, 2021, his license is formatted portrait instead of landscape. Immediately the waitress said no this is not a valid driver’s license-to which we replied yes it is. We showed her right under the picture it says highlighted in red”Under 21 until December 18, 2021. And again, it doesn’t expire until June of 2022 and the Illinois Secretary of State locations are all closed during the holidays and then they closed due to Covid -so even if my son had needed to go and get the landscape formatted driver’s license he couldn’t. Anyway, the waitress refused to even read my son’s license, she said it was fake because of the up and down layout of it. I asked to speak with a manager, who came over and we told him what was happening-he said the waitress is correct and that my son’s driver’s license was fake. I asked him to please take the license in his hand and read it and he refused, then I told him that my son tried to go to the DMV this week but they were closed due to covid and he told me I was lying to him. I pulled up the Illinois Secretary of State website to show him the statement on their front page stating they were closed and he said I can pull that up from anywhere. With that we got our stuff, got up and walked out. Please know that this wasn’t about my son being able to get a beer any more, it was about the fact that neither the waitress or the manager would even hold and read the driver’s license-they both were so sure they were right that they didn’t even take the time to think they maybe they could have been wrong. The both flat out accused my son of showing them a fake ID (which I know happens, but this wasn’t the case at all). So not only did they lose a sale and a decent tipping family for the waitress, but now they have a bad review and a family that will never go back there ever again.
I went here for the first time on my Birthday. I had a great experience. I believe or server's name was Monica. Absolutely wonderful ❤. The food was great and atmosphere pleasant. I would surely recommend and would go again.
Great service, amazing salsa and the Diablo Steak Burrito is so delicious!! Just the right amount of heat with very tender strips of flame grilled steaks! Recommend it with a slather of salsa! Yum!!
The shredded beef tacos were not what I expected. I didn't expect all the fat, lots of fat. Salsa is very good!
I wanted some good Mexican food and I went to the right place. It wasn't busy and our server was so nice and attentive. I got steak tacos and the spicy margarita. My husband got an enchilada, steak, ans taco. Everything was great, I have no complaints.
