I have to say I was surprised by this place. I never knew it existed, definitely somewhere I'll go back. The staff was super helpful, the food was really good and reasonably priced, my kids enjoyed it, and they wanted to go back. That says a lot for any restaurant in my eyes. We sampled a lot of their food. The gyro was probably the best. My kids would disagree with me, and say the chicken was the best. But I did really like the hero in addition to food they have ice cream. And let's just say that was a hit with the entire family. Looking forward to our next visit
Food is very tasty me and my co workers always order big orders here !!! Nice staff here as well
Absolutely the best! Everything was done perfect I ordered a grilled chicken on a pita and a fry it did not disappoint! You can clearly tell they take pride in their food from fresh product to the time they put it in front of you! I would definitely say this place deserves 10 stars but only goes up to 5 .The service was beyond excellent what can I say more than that! The first time in a long time I'm walking out completely satisfied! Well done Kismet!!!!!
Best gyro I've had in a long time; fresh and flavorful. The fries are great, too.
I love the burgers, the owners are very nice people! The beefs however are way too expensive for the quality. I couldn't even eat it because the meat was flimsy and cheap, way too salty, nowhere near what I expected for the price i paid. Hopefully this review will help them improve
Good food, decent prices. I got the gyro, it was delicious but not the best I've ever had. Hot-dogs and fries were Vienna dogs, good fries. Cherry Pepsi on tap, so my girlfriend was happy, but I was just satisfied.
My girlfriend and I visited last week. Immediately, we were both very enlivened by the warm and personable interactions we received. Our food came quickly and our usual extra requests were met with care. When we were finishing our food which we both enjoyed, the owner who had just come out from working the kitchen to relax and asked us how everything was before sitting down. I made a point to approach and say how good the coleslaw was. The owner responded very appreciatively and explained that they try to make it with good intention. Overall, we felt like we were contributing to the livelihood of good people that took a long time to build. We were both heartened by our experience at Kismet and if you’re thinking of eating here, we highly recommend it.
Not being from the area I went off of reviews when looking for a place to grab a quick bite; let me tell you the reviews were not wrong, this place is AWESOME. I have had a gyros more times than I can count; I have had good, bad and great, this place is up at the top with great. When you order a gyros you better get ready to take some home (and I usually finish all my meals), the amount of meat your get is ridiculously abundant and delicious topped with a homemade tzatziki sauce. But enough of the food (which again is great), let’s talk about the staff. These people were so kind and personable. It’s rare when you are sitting at a place that serves burgers, hot dogs, etc. that you are going to be asked how your meal is, but the owners of this place were so genuine and proud of the food they serve that they want to make sure their customers are happy and satisfied.I was fortunate enough to try their rice pudding (which is homemade) and again the quality and taste were so above anything I was expecting. If you live in the area I hope you make this your go to, if you are traveling through the Orland Park area make it a point to stop. In today’s day and time it feels great to support small businesses and this one you will be glad you did.
Good food. Quiet place which was nice. And the young man working the cash register was really friendly!
Great place and they treat you like family (the good kind). The gyros and beef are the best around. The fries are soooo good.
