Ordered tacos and the fixings for a pick up order for a graduation party of 20 people. They did an awesome job! Fresh, great authentic taste, still super hot and timely. This is a favorite place for lunch at our company and it's no secret why: the tacos are excellent, the service is excellent, and they always treat us very well. I highly recommend El Mezcal for lunch tacos!
Gas station food? Nope! This is a great place with awesome food, friendly staff, and fair prices. Large menu to choose from as well. We've ate here about a dozen times over the last year and everything is consistent. Recommend you give it a shot!
Finally a Mexican restaurant that taste like something good!!! You know you had some good food when you can remember the day you ate it! This food changed my life . It made me smile and say you know , everything will be okay . Seriously there are not a lot of Mexican restaurants in the south suburbs that taste amazing this is one of does! Save your money don’t got to Uncle Julios down the street come HERE!!!!
A little hard to find, small place and not much to look at from the outside but boy what a HIDDEN GEM! The food and the service were outstanding. My wife and I both loved it..
Good food and great service. It's in a gas station but it is separated well enough. Great Mexican coffee and authentic salsa. Will go back.
I used to love this place and before the pandemic I would have given this place 5 stars but this place has gone downhill. I will say there’s still hope for this place and hopefully the owner reads these reviews because I’m about to give some constructive criticism. I went here a week ago and the food was under seasoned. I’m talking way under seasoned. All the salsas had no salt and looked watery. The meat is great quality meat but it also lacked salt. The beans tasted like they were from a can. The rice wasn’t as good as it used to be either. I also got the jarritos slushee and it was not worth it at all. It was like a watered down jarritos with no fizz. If you still wanna try it get a small. Not worth it. I don’t know if they got a new cook or they tried to cut back because of expenses but I know they could do better. With everything being said the service has always been great and the portions are nice. The quality of the ingredients with the exception of what I pointed out is good.
Great place! I ordered 10min before closing and the women was nice enough to still take my order. The food was great! Love there gorditas and horchata was delish ?

Yo this place is amazing. Friendly service, amazing food, affordable prices. Everything tastes fresh and authentic. They need to get the word out and do some marketing, no one really knows about this place, its truly a hidden gem in Orland park.
