What a joke. The smallest beef sandwich in the city. They even water down the cheese in their cup of cheese. I felt ripped off & hungry & will not be going back.

After seeing all the good reviews I wish I can give this place a better rating. Hot dog was just meh. I really don't think it's a quality dog. Some have compared this place to Junior's hot dogs but I beg to differ. Their chilito just doesn't compare to juniors Jrito. The chili quality just isn't there. Also at juniors the tortilla chips were on the bottom of the cup as well as on the top of the cup. Back in the day juniors in Chicago Ridge or Alsip where the ones to go to. The Tinley Park location was terrible. At one time there were lots of places to get a good hot dog now they are so few and far between.

If you're in the area and in need of a quick bite, Dons is the best option. Don't even bother going to that other place down the street. Grab yourself a beef sandwich or a couple of hot dogs. You won't be disappointed.
stopped in town to get gas and decided to try the place out on a whim. incredible prices and even better food. one of the best italian beef sandwiches i’ve ever had, and the hot dogs are as good as it comes. classic comfort chicago food. also, the funnel fries are INGENIOUS; if you come by, make sure to order some for the table. i live 30-40 minutes away but i’ll definitely be making the drive back to don’s soon!
Hot dogs seem to be different than usual.Was there yesterday & 4 weeks ago.Not the excellent dogs Don's has had for so long.
