Did I come to a different place then the rest of the reviews? They got my order wrong, left out my side (collard greens) but the food I did have was bad enough that I didn’t want to go back and get the side. I did the pulled chicken and ribs. It’s certainly not smoked. No seasoning on the chicken at all. I got a side of corn pudding…this is not what it is supposed to be. I won’t be back. $28 spent on the entire meal (oh sorry the banana pudding was good.) it was a waste of money.
Overall I’d say that it was really decent. Wasn’t the best bbq that I’ve had, but it definitely beats out lots of other places. Great selection and I enjoyed trying different sauces.
Was excited to try this place for awhile. Service was quick but the brisket was salty and didn't taste good and the food was like warm. The Mac n cheese was okay and I wasn't too crazy about the beans. I did like the potato salad tho.my boyfriend didn't like his pulled pork and said it was also Luke warm. For the price we paid the sandwiches were kinda skimpy and small. I was disappointed and probably won't give this place a second try.
The most amazing southern food that I love. I ate here 3 years ago. The same flavor and food are still here. The courtesy of their employees is amazing.I come from Kansas and the food tastes as Devine as it does their. I shared it with my parents and they are just in awe with it as I was. I am happy for my purchase. Will come back again.
Fair at best. Food was served at room temperature which I would consider cold. Brisket was good but kinda fatty. Same for ribs. Chicken sandwich was cold and over fired, not spicy at all. Over all great idea but terrible execution

Excellent customer service all around, everyone was very friendly. Also, the ribs were pretty good, the sausage was one of the best I’ve had, the brisket was trash and the sides were average. I had Mac & cheese and the baked beans. The brisket could have been better if it was sliced properly, I was given broken up chunks of brisket that was tough to chew which is the reason I’m rating it a 3 out of 5. All in all pretty decent for something quick.
Nice clean dining area only if you have proof of vax, however if you don't you can order to go. I liked the barbeque brisket pull chicken/pork, french fries and beans and smoked ham.
It’s sometimes difficult to find great Barbecue these days. Yet, City Barbecue at 14301 South LaGrange is the place. The ribs are thick and they have a variety of sauces. Other entrees include pulled pork, cornbread, Potato salad, baked beans, BBQ Chicken, Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork and Banana Pudding. Something for everyone. Love that I can call, have it ready for pick up, to-date on time.
Nice little spot tucked right off a major road. Felt bad we ordered, ate, and out did our welcome. Didn't realize they closed earlier on the day we went. But the staff was super nice, and didn't even bother us as they closed. Which was nice. Food tasted great, and will be sure to stop back.
