Tammy,We would like to say thank you so much for your exceptional service! We appreciate you very much for making our experience at beggars pizza such a phenomenal one!You and your entire team were so welcoming, super helpful, and too kind!!!Now let’s talk about food…The food here was amazing! The pizza was oozing with cheese and loaded with vegetables. They really live up to there slogan about “laying it on thick” lolThe pizza was nice and hot and the deep dish crust is to die for!
Love this place! We always liked Beggars but we love this location. New management/ owners are fantastic and all their updates and changes are great!! We’ve been in a handful of times over the last two months and never once had bad service. Food is always fresh, hot and super tasty. If you haven’t been to this location in a while, you need to revisit.
Great food and great great service ! The atmosphere is perfect. We will definitely be coming here again. I only wish I could give 10 stars instead of just 5 !
I was in Orland Park Saturday from Carol Stream and passed Beggar’s on my way to my destination. I’d heard of Beggar’s and remembered hearing good things about it, so decided to order a pizza to take home on my way back. I asked for a plate because I wanted to eat some in the car. When I got there, the door was opened for me so I could get out of the cold, wind and snow flurries), I was offered the chance to eat some pizza there with a real plate and silverware and was offered water. Three employees going above and beyond. And the pizza was AWESOME (next time I’ll order with brown cheese though after looking at photos). If there was a Beggar’s close to me, it would be one of my go-to pizza places!
Had a birthday party and the staff was excellent from Kayle to Kim and the others. I definitely would plan another party with this staff. The room was perfect and everybody had a great time.
My first experience with this location and it didn't go well. First and foremost the food was very good..... Service... Not so much. Reviews like this are challenging because every place has a bad day, but nonetheless this was my experience.I placed an order online, which went flawless. It provided a time when the food would be ready for pickup. Great ??. I actually arrived a little late due to traffic. After waiting at least 5 more minutes to get waited on, I was told my order wasn't ready yet. I was told it would be about 10 minutes. Ok, not a big deal. I ultimately wound up waiting 30 minutes for my food. Not too happy, but at least it was fresh and hot. I left only to get a call from Beggars when I was about a mile away. They had discovered they forgot to give me an item, so I had to turn back around to go back and pick it up. I guess I should be happy they called before I got home and discovered it was missing. So, bonus points. I would say this location suffers from lack of training for the employees. I was able to observe the kitchen staff while waiting, and all I can say is it looked like unorganized chaos, with no manager in sight. It's a wonder they were able to produce any food. The food was good, so I wouldn't say to avoid it, just manage your expectations.
We love Beggars Pizza. My parents actually know the people who own Beggars. I'm writing this review on their behalf because we had such a bad experience at this location and I'm so mad that the staff treated my parents this way.My parents used to order Beggars every Friday night. Nothing huge - just a pizza and maybe some chicken tenders, fries, and zucchini. On one recent Friday night, we ordered more food than usual because I had come over along with my nieces and nephew. My mom ordered online and got a pick-up time of 6pm. She arrived at the counter around 6pm. The girl at the front let her know that the order wasn't ready yet, which was fine. My mom paid her bill and took a seat to wait. For the next 45 minutes, the girl updated my mom in 10 to 15 minute increments that the food still wasn't ready. My mom sat and waited patiently. Finally, at 6:45, the girl let my mom know that one of the two pizzas they ordered had been ready and waiting but they hadn't even started making the other food yet. The second pizza was barely going into the oven then. So she told my mom that she'd need to come back in another 30-40 minutes. So not only did one pizza sit and get cold while she waited, but the other food hadn't even been made. My mom came home, we ate some pizza, and she went back to collect the rest of the order. By this point, she was really mad. When she pulled into the parking lot, the manager (who my mom knew) saw her walking up and ran to the back. My mom asked for the manager because she wanted either a refund, a credit, or an apology. The girl in front kept giggling and saying the manager wasn't available but her food was ready now.My parents haven't been back there after being loyal customers for several years. I wrote this review because I'm so angry at how they were treated. We are understanding people with a history in the service industry. We know things happen, especially on Friday and Saturday nights when things are busy. But after that much inconvenience, the manager should have at LEAST apologized and certainly should not have hidden from a customer.
Kayle was so fun and did a great job! Her recommendations were spot on. The pizza is always great at Beggars but she really adds to the experience. We’ll be back soon!
Under new ownership, it is a very friendly and inviting place. Come in and order their deep dish pizza it's amazing. Been awhile since I've had good pizza!!!
I wanted to like it, but couldn’t. We’ve been looking for a good place to order deep dish (as well as think crust) other than the two “usuals” and failing miserably. Crust for both, thin crust and deep dish, was awful. I’m not sure why it has such good reviews. I don’t understand what people looks for in pizza.
