Rip Off via Drive Thru & Closed Dinning Room: Realizing things are tough these days yet the dining room was close due to lack of workers and a customer could only use the drive-thru... So management believes they can take advantage of paying drive thru customers by giving less than appropriate portions to cheat the customer in a drive thru situation. 2 single entres with 1 pop & 1 water. $20 on the receipt. Pictures says it all. Definitely disappointed ‼️
Website says it opens at 10:30am but then get here and they don’t open till 11am. Wait in line to order at 11am then they do not even have most of the things cooked to serve people. Orange Chicken by far should be the first thing they should have ready. But sitting here waiting still and it’s 15 minutes after opening. So now 45 minutes after they are supposed to open and still no food. This is honestly ridiculous. By the way there is another 5 vehicles waiting for their orders. Some did not order orange chicken neither. This is crazy!
I brought a bus load of students from Glenwood, Iowa on Easter Sunday and every restaurant in the area was closed. Pandas drive through was open but the manager was kind enough to open the lobby for my students. They were understaffed and overworked but the food was excellent, came out quicker than expected and my kids were very thankful. We will stop here every time we pass through from now on. Thank you Nelson!!!
One star is harsh, real harsh. Knowing this I still choose one star for this place. Not just because of today’s visit, but several over the course of a few years hoping one day it will be managed correctly. Unfortunately that’s still not the case. Since I’m done trying, I’ll review. Old food, cold food, NO FOOD, missing 1/2 the order, not replenishing food because they close in 45 minutes…. You name it. If you’re open till (fill in blank) be open to 100% service or not at all. Try harder to keep hair out of the food too. That’s a big one there.Anyway, I’m done with that place.
So I recently had went to Panda Express today and I told them my order of what I wanted as soon as I even approached to the speaker to say what I wanted the girl taking orders had a consistent attitude anytime I said what I wanted so I order honey sesame chicken and double chow mein and a side of honey walnut shrimp so as I’m sitting in line for 20 minutes waiting on my food I get all the way home and they give me the wrong food not once but three times I suggest not eating here staff very rude and never can get an order right! Then not to mention tried calling to talk to a manger and no phone answered but all them workers???
Desperately wish I could give you no stars. Every time I come to this location, it’s always some bs. Either you’re out of stuff, the line is flowing out of the parking lot, I have to have exact charge or a card, the inside is open one day then closed the next, I can order online for pick up then the next day I can’t. It’s getting really fricking ridiculous to be honest. I understand we are in a pandemic but my goodness… I always leave here displeased. I wish I could go to another location but lucky me, the Saint Clair square location is open only one day a week. Do better as a company and location because your service has drastically decreased at this point. I come here at least twice a week… and I always have to wait a hour for some mediocre meal. I don’t know why I bother giving you guys my money anymore.
Supposed to open at 11 AM, I was the 2nd car in the drive thru at 10:58 AM. They did not take the order for the 1st car until 11:15, nor did they even acknowledge her! They do not take online orders any longer, all of the doors are locked so you can't even go in to order. After they finally took the 1st car's order I had to sit there another 7 minutes before they took mine. Then they say they are only taking card or "exact change", which makes no sense. They also had no egg rolls or spring rolls. Finally got our food at 11:40 AM and it wasn't even worth it. Rice was cold and bland and the orange chicken rubbery. Unfortunately this is my 3rd or 4th bad experience with this particular Panda Express and I won't be back.
They are consistently out of product. Popular menu items like the orange chicken and Bejing beef. In addition to that, the line in the drive through takes about 5-10 minutes per car. Finally, they never answer the phone, so you can't proactively find out if they are out of product. I just started paying more money and going to Wasabi for sushi.
Food is always great here. They closed the lobby and since it's just a drive through its a joke. I timed it. Takes an average of 6.5 min per car. Plan on 45 to 50 min to get through. People working there must just hang out inside. They have a sign out front looking for kitchen and team members, I think you need to be looking for a manager to get the people working you've got in there.
The inside is closed due to covid conditions. I drive a class 8 truck. I explained that there is not way I could fit in the drive up. One employee looked at my truck sitting there with the Wal-Mart trailer. They took my order at the door and passes it through. This is only the second Panda that has been accommodating to truck drivers. 5 star all the way
