Wonderful Pizza, my personal favorite is the Porky Fig. I was hesitant about it at first but when I asked the waiter what his opinion was, he responded by telling me that the Porky Fig with banana peppers was his personal favorite. So, I tried it and I thought his suggestion really made the difference. thank you so much. wonderful service!!
Excellent wait staff! All wait staff helped/assisted/served all tables. The waitress who took our order was helpful, pleasant and made great suggestions. The house salad and pizza were delicious! There are no issues whatsoever with alterations to anything! I wanted the house salad with gorgonzola vs goat cheese and we wanted a half cheese half mushroom and banana pepper pizza and the half pizza options were even offered at half the price! The crust was delicious and the sauce was flavorful. Grated cheese and red pepper flake shakers were on the table for our use. So many pizza and salad (house and full size) options are available.
Got there a little after six without a reservation place was busy I got seated right away server was right over took a drink order the wine menu is not large but what they have is very good and served in proper stemware. Talked with the server and decided on the Don Corleone Pizza it was perfect. Manager happened by for a quick chat. Good vibes here! This place is running on all cylinders
The pizza is really good but the service can be hit or miss. I will say that the service was outstanding this time around and the waitress was very attentive and filled our drinks many times. I have gone other times where they seemed to not care about checking up on you, but maybe those days are behind them. The wait times have always been reasonable on busy nights.
Great atmosphere. Service was excellent. Pizza is very good too. We have died in and also gotten carry out. Each time the pizza was perfect.
17" Hawaiian, asked for easy sauce. I really liked the hand-stretched dough. It was airy and had a nice texture on the outside. It was my first time eating at Dewey's and didn't think to ask, but next time I'll ask for a little bit more well done. It wasn't raw or anything, but I enjoy a bit of browning on the cheese. I'll ask for a chop on the bacon too. I'm not complaining. It was really good but I'm thinking of ways that I'd like it even more. Service was great too!
I am a picky eater when it comes to pizza, so when my girlfriend and I tried Dewey's Pizza, I was a little hesitant. However, along with the excellent service we had and the quality of the pizzas, I can say that this is one of my new favorite pizza restaurants.I forgot our waitresses name, but that wasn't a problem because there were two others who attended to us as well. I was completely shocked! My girlfriend had the Southwest BBQ Chicken pizza with the Peppercorn Ranch salad while I had the Bronx Bomber pizza. They were so delicious that we had to take leftovers home with us, which tasted just as good.If you are ever bored and want to try a pizza restaurant with great quality, I highly recommend Dewey's Pizza in O'Fallon, IL.There is a large window in which you can see the cooks make pizzas from scratch which is also quite entertaining!
Dewey's is always AMAZING! Pictured here on the left is the Yukon Cornelius (doesn't appear to be on the menu anymore) and the Socrates Revenge is on the right. The YC was interesting! I think the potatoes needed to be cooked a little longer, or maybe sliced thinner, but I hadn't had potatoes on my pizza until trying this one. I appreciate and love that Dewey's experiments with different ingredients. The Socrates Revenge is my go-to: minced garlic, spinach, black and green olives, onion, and tomato, with mozz, fontina, and feta. Magnifique. And really, you can't go wrong with a classic cheese here either.Dewey's does it best!
We are in town and were struggling to find a place for dinner that didn't have an hour plus wait. We called Dewey's and they put a table together for us before we arrived. Their customer service was top notch. Very friendly, helpful, and fast. Their pizza was amazing with a nice crust that was flavorful and was a perfect density. Not too thin or too thick. The sauce had a lot of flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. The toppings were well paired and very high quality. Don't expect the small unappealing pepperoni you get from a chain pizza place, expect more of an artisan style pepperoni that compliments the overall pizza. Overall highly recommend.
So far, the best pizza I've found in the local area. Fresh ingredients. fantastic sauce and crust!
