Been going here for several years now, cannot give enough praise to ownership and staff. Specialkudos to the fact that it’s dog friendly.Was in there today and one of the baristas asked to pet my large dog (Anatolian). He was cranky after a long day and is still in training, so he get ornery after a few pets.She handled it like a professional and accepted my sincere apology (he’ll be muzzled from now on).Hopefully will be coming back for years to come.
Best coffee, best tea, best atmosphere, best muffins...this place has the best of downtown Oak Park.
I've been here 3 times so far and every time has been wonderful! First, the prices cannot be beat. The service is fast and friendly, the baked goods are as close to perfect as possible (it's hard to find pastries that aren't overly sweet- but I've found one!), and the drinks are on point. My favorite is the mocha, just the right amount of chocolate and sweetness. It's a great place to have a quiet moment enjoying the sunlight that streams in through their large windows or to meet a friend for a comforting drink. I've definitely found a new favorite coffee shop.
Great service, cozy cafe, good coffee, and great baked goods! Was also pleasantly surprised that they are very mindful of single-use waste! Now a local favorite.
My husband has picked up food from Wise Cup's street food popups multiple times. They're always amazing! Today was my first time there for a typical coffee shop visit. I placed my order for takeout, but got a feel for the atmosphere as I waited for it to be prepared. It was SO peaceful! I'll definitely head back there the next time I need to relax or get work done. I almost want that to be tomorrow. I really enjoyed it.Today, I ordered a bagel and Penguin Latte. The latte was decent. I've had better espresso, and perhaps I didn't order the best drink to suit my taste. The bagel (sesame) was outstanding! I can't wait to go back to enjoy the atmosphere and to try a different drink.
I start my day early and was looking forward to my coffee break. Decided to try somewhere new. We have lots of wonderful options in Oak Park and I’m happy to support them. After going in and saying good morning I waited for a response. I figured she didn’t hear me, only realizing a few moments later she was on the phone with her air pods. I asked a couple questions about different coffees I never tried and was told all the info was on the listing(yes I read it, just thought I would be able to get her thoughts about them). She continued talking low on the phone the whole time I was there. I tried asking another question and she continued being rude so I left.I grew up here, love supporting local businesses, and have been in customer service for over 20 years now. There are too many amazing options where customer service and quality go hand in hand that I will continue to go to, this is not one of them unfortunately.
The tea was very bland here- its like they don't know how to steep tea properly or how much tea is needed for certain amount of water. Cute ambience. But still, learn the correct ratio.
I really love this spot! Wise cup is really amazing! Their place is very clean, huge, nice, and bright. They are well-maintained, organized, and the tables are perfectly aligned. The whole place has a great atmosphere, the vibe really hits different, and very relaxing. The coffee here is phenomenal. It is so tasty, delicious, and the aroma of it is really lit. This is the best spot for coffee! If you are here in this city and looking for a place to hang out with friends, meeting with workmates, and even bonding with family you must visit and give this place a try. This place has a big selection of coffee and tea. Perfect place to chill, read, and relax. All of their staff here is very friendly, nice, and decent. They also have baristas that is so professional and attentive. I really enjoyed my experience at this place. I would really love to visit and eat here again. Can’t wait to try more of their food on the menu. Will definitely recommend this place to all the people I know. This Wise Cup is exceptional! You all must visit this place!
