Nice place to gather when out of town family was visiting. Excellent food and service in a comfortable setting.

Always consistent service and food. We love the staff.

Our favorite restaurant. The menu changes every two weeks with a variety of entrees. Their signature pizzas, from the wood fired oven, are hard to beat-especially on Tuesday and Thursday night (special $).

Amazing place. First time being there and the food was excellent. Service was very kind and the siiting was so relaxing. Definitely go back. Pizza for a wood oven are so perfect.

Outdoor table on the sidewalk was lovely. Street traffic is not loud/heavy. Gentle music piped outdoors. Their pizza dough/fire oven creates a delicious crust, other food is solid, and cocktails are outstanding. Offer GF crust and vegan cheese if you need it. The service is very friendly, though host was missing from front station a bunch--probably filling in b/c of staffing shortages all restaurants seem to have these days.

Love the outdoor side patio.

The servings are ample and very tasty. Service was a little slow, but these days that is nothing new. Pleasant staff and helpful. We had a great experience overall and will certainly return. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great food, great service and friendly atmosphere

We’re from Michigan visiting our son and we really enjoyed the whole experience

This hidden neighborhood in Oak Park was a fun discovery for our family...and we will definitely return to both the neighborhood and to Trattoria 225. We were seated immediately in their very large restaurant. Lots of tables and a new patio for outdoor seating that should be available soon. The server was great, helped us find a bottle of wine we liked and gave good suggestions to help us land on that. We all loved our entrees. The two guys had the Mahi Mahi, which was delicious. My daughter enjoyed the linguine Bolognese with short ribs. And I had the grilled Caesar salad with shrimp. It was all very good. AND the very best thing we ordered was the grilled mozzarell and prosciutto. Oh my. If I had one critique it is that the staff seemed to be rushing us...I think they were just trying to be attentive, but it felt a bit like they were hovering and trying to rush us through the experience. Calm down! The place was not full and it didn't seem like we needed to be rushed. There's a fine line between good service and being pushy. They were just at the edge.
