No flavor. Tortillas to thick. I love that it’s open late but they need to work on the flavor and how much salt they put. We ordered burritos. Tacos. Fortas. Sopes. Unfortunately all of it lacked flavor. What sucked to was it looked so good but the flavor was not there. I love that there was guacamole in every dish but it still did not hit the spot. And I am was starving. Customer was great for late night.
I had the Enchiladas Verde with chicken. It was a huge portion, and it had great flavor. Thanks for bringing so.e authentic and good-looking Mexican food to Oak Park.
Worst service I have ever receive. I have been a loyal customer since opening of this location and I have always come at night because I work in the day. But the last time I went it was in the morning around 8:30 and the woman serving me was so disrespectful. Did everything with an attitude, kept being on her phone, when she put my plate down her finger was in my food, truly disgusting. I asked for another soda and she put it down on my table with an attitude as well. For the amount I paid for the chips, she gave me a miserable portion of it, mind you I was with my daughter and it wasn’t enough for the both of us. Her serve was the worse, shouldn’t be working if she doesn’t like doing it. I saw her walking back and forward repeatedly doing nothing. So lazy
Quick fix at Tacos El Tio #4. The menu is diverse with many Mexican favorites. First time here and ordered a chicken burrito, chips and guac along with a Michelada. The portions are large enough to share and quite tasty. Standard fillers, lettuce, tomato, beans, cheese and most orders come with a side of beans and queso. Beers are cold, Michelada are tangy and refreshing. We'll be back for the sopas and tortas as they caught our eye from the next table. Tacos El Tio seemed a bit short staffed on our visit on a Monday.
food is good and authentic Mexican for Oak Park. Nice artwork on the tables and chairs. Big portions. Easy to share a burrito or taco dinner between 2 people
Was craving tacos early in the morning after getting off my overnight shift. Decided to Google a spot nearby and it led me to this place. I wasn't sure if it would actually be open so early but it was! I was greeted by a nice lady who took my order, two steak tacos, nachos w/ ground beef and Jamaica. My only 2 complaints about my food is my Tortilla chips were kind of stale, and they didn't use Nacho cheese on the nachos. But overall I was really pleased, the Jamaica drink was some of the best I've ever had. Definitely coming back
Delicious food! We ordered a bunch of tacos and sides, plus some horchata - definitely a new favorite place for us!Only got a picture of the giant taco, it's so filling! We're excited to keep trying other things on the menu ?
This a very authentic tradition design every table and chair is painted with in a unique beautiful different way and it is very relaxed atmosphere they are open 24 hours and their food and drinks are delicious ? ??
The steak or carne asada is wonderful! Their signature avocado salsa is out of this world! And hot! Can't wait to go back again!
Expect to spend a bit more, but all the restaurants in this area are like this (excluding the chain restaurants). Quality food, friendly staff, 24 hour service. I saw a lady mixing some drinks in the back and asked her if they serve alcohol... she told me that they are developing an alcohol menu for dine-in (besides the beer stocked in the fridge).
