They need help. Drive thru orders were going out before walk ins. People waited over 15 mins for their orders. If it wasn't for the shirts I wouldn't have known who the manager was. The 1 employee that was filling orders told the manager what he wasn't doing and what he (the manager) should be doing. They are short staff, unorganized, need more training as well as proper uniforms. Sagging pants and no hair nets is unsanitary for a restaurant.
BEWARE!!!Delivery doesn't seemed to be accurate so beware if you're ordering online(Ex; doordash, the app, Grubhub, etc) anyways I've ordered from this place 3 times in a row, 1st time they forgot my drink; I said okay that's cool I didn't really need it, 2nd time they gave me two small red bean and rice instead of a large one??? Huh? Were they that lazy to put it in a large on top of that portions were wrong so I was cheated out my money but that was okay bc I could report it to the app on top of that rice were burnt food was cold asl and it's the summer time so ... yea, 3rd time I ordered the same thing this time they gave me a large mashed potatoes(I don't even like theirs so why???) no sauces no straw, hard *** biscuits like wth!? I work at a Resturant so the fact that they don't care what they put out is beyond me. So nasty that's why I don't go to this one and if I don't it probably gonna have to be in person to check my order bc why am I paying for cold food? Missing items? They need to get it together ASAP Bc I don't play abt my food
I have lived in oak park all my life, this particular location gets more ghetto and unprofessional every time I go. Today was the last time, my fries were just thrown in the brown paper bag. No appropriate costumer service at the window what so ever. I rather take the drive and go to the one on cermak in Berwyn IL where the Hispanics are at least I know my food would be right. This location needs to do better period
Used to love this popeyes but they've gone downhill fast. Consistently out of half the menu and what they do have you won't get. Sauces forget it. you're lucky if you even get your side.
strictly a review on my drive thru HORROR experience. my drink was overflowing and spilled over the cup and counter. the worker decides to wipe the counter off with napkins the proceeds to wipe my drink top off with the SAME napkin she just wiped the drive thru counter off with. i was absolutely horrified!!!!! how disgusting can you be! she was oblivious and was about to hand me the drink! I had to ask her to replace my cup top! Sanitation and common sense would tell you to wipe the counter and the top of my cup separately. I didn't get an apology - only a "i was about to do that". No you weren't ma'am!!!! She seriously needs to be retrained on food and sanitation. This happened 5/9/22 at 11:45am. She was a plus sized white woman with glasses. Horrible experience.

Went through drive thru. Food is good like any other Popeyes. Got order mixed up with other car. Don't know how. Never had this problem in any places in Chicago. Workers was nice and problem remedy immediately.
For this Popeyes to be in Oak Park, y’all should be ashamed. The food is never fresh, the young people are always on their phone and the service is garbage. How do you give someone Sweet Tea that taste like water. I mean not sweet at all. I’m so disappointed in this place I can literally go back in slap the manager like will did Chris Rock!!!
Eric the Manager on second shift is VERY PROFESSIONAL!! He made sure that I was in and out, and everything was fresh! the whole staff on that shift is awesome. I will be coming back here every time I get the munchies
I come from the west side of chicago all the way to this exact location due to the fact that customer service is AMAZING and I receive my order almost instantly. Im always greeted by a sweet young man I believe his name is Erick and I can assure when he is there ill be out the door in a jiffy! Overall the establishment is very clean and staff is very nice.
