the pork belly is amazing
Mora Oak Park has what families are looking for... great location, options and plenty of street parking. Their bar, cocktail and Filipino Japanese menu aims to please. One of the very few Asian food restaurants in the area offering Gluten-free, Vegan and Soy Free options. Appetizers, Tempura, Robata Grill, Noodles, Soups and of course Sushi. Started with Lumpia, mini crunchy egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken skewers and salmon from the Robata grill. Our Mini egg rolls were a hit, with a flaky delicious crunch, paired with a sweet chili sauce. Entrees of Tempura Shrimp and Spicy Salmon sushi rolls were a perfect blend of heat and crunch. Side of rice accompanied the Robata and the only fault were green beans that lacked the flair and flavor. Maybe a touch on the grill to lock in the ponzu sauce... Nevertheless, Mora Oak Park will be on the list of go to places as they have Happy Hour specials at the bar!
I live right across the street from this place which is why I’m so let down that this place is MID. I would spend so much money here if it was worth it. You’re going to pay $20 MINIMUM for the quality a little lower than PF changs. There are way better options for the price around oak park.
Mora is a local treasure and I’m so glad they are making it thru the pandemic! Get the honey shrimp, Brussel sprouts and the yellowtail appetizer and you will be so happy! Also the usual server we have is always so friendly and always right there when you need him! Highly recommend!
Staff is so kind and helpful when deciding on meals & drinks to choose from! Amazing Mai Tais and atmosphere! We love it as date night spot :)
The food here is fresh and delicious Asian fusion. You MUST order the honey shrimp, gyoza, brussel sprouts, jasmine rice and we have loved the Korean wings with a past order. George was very accommodating when we had an issue with an item missing from our order. Keep supporting local businesses.
Tony my server was amazing ? the food was Delicious!
Amazing place! I had their poke tower, adobo fried rice, and honey shrimp. All of which were reasonably priced. When you bite into their poke tower, the salmon’s texture is soft which compliments the fried tortilla that it comes with. It’s nicely seasoned with refreshing taste from the vegetables. Their Adobo fried rice is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. It’s simple yet extravagant at the same time. It’s nice and savory and the pork belly in it is nice and soft. It’s not greasy at all and it’s well plated. Their honey shrimp though tastes like honey walnut shrimp from panda but I still believe it will compliment the adobo rice. I suggest you guys eat them right away. The place has also a nice ambiance and clean place.
We went with friends. The mush mush roll was fantastic! We ordered a few rolls to share. The ginger is fresh and so is their wasabi. The service was great! It wasn't crowded when we went.
Great place to dine. the sushi is amazing and so are the Korean wings. Will be going back to try the rest of the food in the menu.
