Bar looks grea, rooftop is amazing, but food is terrible. Had a 45 min wait for fish tacosAnd they were horrible. The place had about 20-25 people (all on rooftop) and they were all waiting. The food was a lot better years ago
Great service and food! Came here with the hubby for some wings and buffalo cauliflower - everything was delicious! Very chill atmosphere
Great food, great environment, great staff, and a solid beer selection. I got an Impossible burger with avocado and Guinness honey mustard, which was excellent. Their cheese curds were good too. The patio area is great during the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Wings! We ordered the Teriyaki wings and they were amazing! Perfect amount of sauce and crisp, I haven't stopped thinking of them. Also ordered the red apple cheesecake and the portion was more than enough for two people but I'm glad I got my own because it was delicious. Definitely planning trips back.
High quality menu of food and beverages that makes this a unique experience. Waitress was also very good. Food was cooked flawlessly. Large dinning areas with multiple seating options. I have no complaints.

One of the absolute best places in the area for great food and drinks. Awesome menu with a good variety of choices and price points...food is always outstanding and drinks are super reasonable. Nice large dining room and bar and great people working here. Highly recommend!
A bar with a family atmosphere and very good options to taste. It's just that they advertise "Happy Hour" everywhere in this place, and when you ask for a drink within happy hour, they tell you that day is not valid. If you want to take advantage of the "Happy Hour" first make sure that you are on the right day to do it by calling and asking before arriving at this place, since they do not have specified the days of the week that do have the promotion.
The Avenue Ale House has really upped its' game since the last time I visited (several years ago)! Lighter, brighter, more polished, with an appealing menu and plenty of great beers on tap. I had dinner at the bar and my bartender, Antonio, was knowledgeable and attentive while serving all at the bar AND filling the staff's orders. My Reuben and Sweet potato fries were crunchy and savory, with a pint of great beer, and a fine time was had by all!
Okay-ish bar food and slightly over priced cocktails. But there isn't much in Oak Park in terms of bar and grill type places so that'll do pig.
