The custard is very r thick and refreshing and worth waiting in long lines in warm summer evenings! It is so delicious and refreshing.

We had a late night hankerin' for ice cream and this little place stood out like those odd lights we saw in the sky last night. It's this funny little diner with a 1950's kinda vibe-- hell, maybe it's been there since the 50's..? What do I know, yeah..
Just moved to oak lawn and me and my sons wanted to try this place. Was kind of disappointed because the young man wasn't too friendly especially with my son..my son has special needs and told them hello.. Hi.. about twice and the guy didn't even acknowledge him and just ignored him.it left a bad taste in my mouth!! the ice cream was OK but I wanted to tell this guy something really bad but I just bit my tongue.probably not go back ever again. ill just go to Andy's!
The employee at the counter was very rude to me told me to step back if I wasn’t paying and then she lied to me and said they were closing when I sat down in the booth and she told me I had to go outside to eat my ice cream once I told her I was going to bring it to the owners attention she said OK yeah you can sit inside and of course I did not and I’m still in the parking lot 35 minutes later watching customers go in there so that employed as a liar and I felt very offended that she wouldn’t allow me to sit in a booth I was wearing a mask the employees were not what a horrible experience they should fire that employee

I Love the ice cream here. I have not tried any of the food because I always want the ice cream and it is about 35 minutes from my house. It is worth the drive.
I heard about this place on news. I wanted a good Funnel cake before leaving Chicago going back to Virginia. The service was Excellent.
