I usually get the Italian beef with sweet and hot peppers dipped as well as a hot dog or two with the works. You also can't go wrong with their chili cheese dogs. Definitely a must try. Always good service and the food is a nice change from the normal fast food places. Love the atmosphere too.
This is the always busy 95th and Pulaski Portillos, and is, like all of the Portillos in my opinion, overpriced.A cheeseburger and fries for fifteen bucks? If the food was hot and well prepared, maybe.It was nether. My first serving of fries was only half full. The disinterested counter people gave me another, and they were barely warm. The burger tasted like it was cooked earlier in the day. Overall not something I would recommend to other people.
Not a fan of long reviews so I'll keep this short.Waited 42 minutes for a cheeseburger, cheese fries and fish sandwich. Needless to say the fries were cold, cheese was so cold it was barely creamy anymore, fish sandwich and cheeseburger, you guessed it... COLD!!! I actually heard people complaining that had been waiting longer than me!I'm glad the employees don't need my money to pay their bills because I won't be back!! The 1 star I have them however was because wife's salad was ready in 5 minutes.If you like long waits and cold food... This is definitely the place for you!
This place is a sinkhole, or at least the online pickup corner is. They either need more efficient staff or better organizational skills. My experience the last 2 times visiting were a disaster. Today’s visit being the most recent. Nobody is at the register attending to customers 85% of the time. There’s no reason a group of 15-20 customers should be waiting nearly an hour for orders they had already placed & paid for. What’s the point of a grab-and-go pickup station if the shelves are always empty? It took the manager to come to the front to get a handle on things & start getting orders out (although quite a few of them were wrong). Kudos to her for keeping her cool with disgruntled customers, because I couldn’t do it. So I finally get my order only to discover it being cold and disgusting. I recommend sticking to the drive thru or ordering at the counter for better service. Seemed like those orders were being pushed out much quicker. Maybe even avoid this location altogether.

Do not order from this portillos if it’s close to closing time. My husband ordered from here and asked for his burger to have no ketchup because he has an allergy to tomatoes. He ordered me a chili dog as well. Got home all the way to Park Forest only to find ketchup on the burger he bit into and no chili dog for me. Store was closed by then so no fixing the order. I submitted an email to customer service. Said they’d respond in about 48 hours. I’m still waiting for an answer.

I eat at Portillo's often since the 70's. This dining experience was the worst. Lines have always been long but always real quick service but not this time. Not to mention the order was wrong and it would have longer just to try to get it corrected.
The food was good, no complaints. But I notice dust was flying in my face and on my food as the sun was shining through the restaurant. Please dust the decorations fractures. They are very dusty and it's even worst when the heat and cool system was on.
I absolutely hate this place with a passion. I love Portillos but this is the worst location by far.. I gave them another opportunity as my wife is pregnant and craved it. Order was for curbside, which apparently they "don't do" however their website allows you to place an order under it. I've been threw this with then when they did allow it so I went inside right away. I understand short staff and that were in a pandemic but my order was supposed to be ready by 5:51 its now 6:21 and I still have no food. customer service is absolutely none exsitint here and the manager's bere are just as bad if not worse. Then to top it all off upon arrival I'm missing an entire meal.. worst part is it was for my prego wife. I'm fault for not checking but come on.. DONE
