I placed my order through the app for pick up. I had the steak hummus bowl. It was amazing!!!!! The portions were adequate and the flavor was delicious! The veggies were really fresh and the steak was super flavorful. I called the restaurant to compliment them, but unfortunately they don't have an option to leave reviews on their receipts. So this was the next best thing. I will definitely be back!
I placed an order for my husband and I. I walked in to pick it up, 10 minutes after my pickup time because the last time I placed an order we had to wait 35 minutes after pickup time and got no apologies, etc. I walked in to a very unfriendly employee who told me I needed to wait and I asked how long and she ignored me. We waited 10 minutes, then she placed the bag on top of the counter and didn’t even tell me it was ours and it was done. I asked if it was my order and she ignored me again. I get home and my chicken was RAW. Temping at 100 f. Chicken is supposed to be 165. Ten minutes in my air fryer and it was only temping at 128. That’s how raw it was. That could of got me extremely sick. My family and I used to eat here at least once a week and now we’re not anymore. When we first started going here we had great experiences. Now nothing but awful experiences and very unfriendly employees. Now to top it off raw chicken. Ridiculous!
The only reason why I gave it 1 star is only because the food is good, but the service, the service is horrible! I come here only because it’s the only one in this area, unfortunately! This is not the first time I have a negative experience here so I decided to post so people can prepare before they come here. Today, 6/21/2022 at 5:00 pm, I came to purchase food, and the girl who was serving was horribly rude to me, she was banging the tops of the containers and the spoons, giving horrible attitude to me, I was being super nice, I thought maybe it would change her attitude, but it didn’t, she continued being rude and throwing my food as she was serving it. 2 guys walked in and her attitude was completely different towards them, she even offered them samples of the food and was being so flirty and kidding around with them, I proceeded to pay and she rolled her eyes and glared at me because I asked her for sauce. On top of it this, there were no napkins and the restaurant just looked unorganized and dirty. I hope managers or owners of this chain read this and learn of the unprofessional people they have working this location and make some changes before they end up having to close it due to not having clients.
Save your money! Nothing was fresh except the pitas. I ordered two plates took me less than three minutes to get there, both orders were cold not even warm! Falafel’s were burnt, dry, and old. Chicken overly coated with a sauce. Absolutely terrible. Now I know why there is never anyone in there.
The food is delicious! I legit go here at least once a week. The customer service is horrible though, which is why I gave 3 starts instead of 5. The young lady, who I assume manages the restaurant, always has a horrible attitude. She’s a black female, but I don’t know her name. The receipt she gave me says Mita. It doesn’t fail, every time you go there, she acts as if you’re disturbing her. Like I said, I assume she’s the manager because she’s typically giving orders to the younger workers. Sometimes she even comes in with a bonnet on her head and don’t always use gloves. It’s unreal. And there’s always a wait, even though there’s never more than 2 people in line. She needs to change her attitude or leave.
I’m not even going to lie, this food is nasty. It has an underlying aftertaste of this musty flavor. This was my first time going to Naf Naf Grill in Oak Lawn and because of this I would not visit another Naf Naf Grill location. SemSem Mediterranean in Tinely Park is way more TASTY with greater sized portions than this. I’m a petite person with a small appetite and even I AM complaining about how tiny the plates are!I got three measly scoops of rice and when I asked for more, I was told the surcharge would be $3. I wouldn’t have gotten more than a scoop and a half of rice anyway. ? My biggest regret is paying for this food, and wasting my time waiting in lie just to be disappointed. The flavors are not on point and the pita bread is ridiculously small. I work HARD for my money. I wish I could get it back because this is ridiculous. The only thing that did taste good was the AHA sparkling water, the $1.70 piece of baklava, and the pickles on my chicken shawarma.
Quick bite customer service was good food was good except the pita bread . Looks clean and good portions for the price you paid.
Long gone is the signature naf experience. No welcome to naf naf greeting at the door all the employees have headphones in no hats on. One guy out of uniform cooking himself lunch, pants sagging, and on a FaceTime call. Manager just laughs and shakes her head. Food looks as it should but the taste is lackluster. Sauces were extremely watered down, steak severely under seasoned no lemon or middle eastern spices taste at all , falafels over cooked , pita is obviously come frozen and thawed . I know good help is hard to find but franchise owner seriously needs to hold the ppl he trusts with his investment accountable. Times like this I wish the Orland Park location was still open because the south suburbs are in need of a good naf naf.
Customer service is bad the servers have attitude. They don't know their prices of their item. Portions unfair and small for the price. The basmati rice is still under cook. By the few bites I took the basmati rice the rice is still hard. Ordered steak as my meat, they only put 3 strips of steak to each of the bowl im getting. The pita bread is also under cook. I open it and it is still doughy inside. Didn't even care to refill the items because they said "we are closing soon" charge us for the falafel that is suppose to be free. We been to a lot of naf naf grill branches but this by far the worst branch we ever been through. Do better. So disappointing ???
I was really excited to finally have a Naf Naf Grill in my Area,but it has been disappointing since they open it. First, the portions are ridiculous small. It looks like they are just adding ingredients without any measurements. Today I order a Falafel rice Bowl, and when I opened my food at home, there was not falafels at all. like come on guys!! I call the store, and I spoke with the manager but it seemed that she just didn’t care at all. She had a bad attitude since the beginning. She offered me to come back for the falafel but at that time I was really tired. Besides there was a lot of traffic. so I didn’t go back. I am a big fan of Naf Naf Grill; thus, I have visited many restaurants, and they always have amazing attitude, and reasonable good portions. This place needs to be trained more, and have a better customer service.
