Think the delivery guys name was Duke if I remember correctly but yeah he was super friendly and my pizza arrived in less than the estimated time. Best deep dish on the south side for sure.
Always delicious and the biggest bang for your dollar. It is the best managed Beggars in the chain. The thin crust is always crispy but still manages to bend a little under the weight of those mounds of sauce, cheese and sausage. Delicious, whether you're hungry or not.
Friday I just got done grocery shopping in the evening. I decided I was going to order some food. I had a taste for pasta. So I call Beggars Pizza to order some pasta. So I did. The young lady said it'll be around 20 minutes. So I get at the restaurant and I weigh it. Give them my extra 5 minutes. So I go in to pick up my order. The young lady said it'll be 5 more minutes. I was kind of upset about it. So I waited. I was very uncomfortable about sitting under I was very uncomfortable about sitting under. Because none of the young ladies had mask on most of the people who work in and back did not have a mask on not even the manager. It will be a while before I go back... Also some of the people coming in did not have a mask on yes I did had my own mask on.. Problem is it's not a big place
I don't know what happened, used To be good but now they don't care. I wasted 1 hr and 10 minutes for delivery. I called at the 2hr mark and they said it was just being packaged for delivery. Canceled the order and they canceled a loyal customer.
I had ordered a small deep dish with mushrooms and I received a small thin crust with mushrooms call the restaurant and told them they order was wrong and they corrected it and I offered to give them the pizza back and they told me I can keep it and that they will send me out another they Customer service with outstanding so thank you ?
If you try and get pizza by the slice, it’s a guessing game. They are all boxed individually. Can’t tell what flavors or type of pizza it is and if the slices are fresh or not. I am not going to take a gamble on whether or not I am going to get a good slice of pizza.When I asked to speak with the manager about this, he came out and as he spoke to me WITHOUT A MASK ON, he ironically told me this was because of health and safety protocols.There are open hot food bars everywhere at places like Mariano’s and Whole Foods. But this manager, without a mask on, kept telling me that this has been done for healthy and safety…

Ordered a pizza a hour ago to be delivered to my hotel room(which is NOT the first time I’ve called to get pizza delivered to this hotel).. called a hour later to tell me my hotel room is out of their delivery district. I called again and said if i come get the pizza could I get a fresh pizza so my pizza can be fresh. Since it would take me another 30 minutes to get there. They basically told me no and said the pizza will be in the warmer. No sorry was given. WOW! If i could give 0 stars I would.
Ordered a pizza and paid for it. They told me it will be a 25 min wait. I came back to pick up my order and they said it will be another 25 min wait. They never made my pizza. They gave me a refund. I’ll be taking my buissiness back to Phil’s pizza.
I was there on Oct 22 preparing to celebrate myBirthday...we were a group of 5 and we were told the lobby was closed... however there was another family seated ..the only problem I had with the situation...as we left the restaurant and proceeded to get in your cars. There was another family came in was seated and served..A party about the same size but another Ethic group Caucasian and we were African Americans.. it's sad ...as much we we have going on in the world...we are still here racially...
