This place is popular and cozy. I liked service and attention to how food is furnished. On Friday evening place was packed by patrons, employees were polite and in 5 minutes we were seated at a nice table.Even though place was packed service was lightning fast. We had a great time here.Food was good but was lacking flavor.
Crisp and flavorful. The toppings are fresh and plentiful. A meal here takes me back to a simpler time, a better time in history. Prices here are very reasonable too. If you've never been here, you don't know what you are missing.
Short rib pasta was excellent. definitely will order again next time. Veal meatball was good too but not as great as short rib pasta. Very homemade italian food.
Came across this place randomly while out in Northbrook for the afternoon, and we loved it. The vibe is cool and the food was great. There was no wait for a table, but I'm sure we just came at the right time, cuz it's not a very large place.Also, I don't know what the person below was going on about re: not being able to get a table if you're under 60. We were a group of 20/30 somethings and got seated immediately.Food is not exorbitantly priced but isn't cheap. Check it out if you're looking for something to do after the Botanic Gardens or hitting the outlets.

Stopped by for the first time a couple days ago and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly, everything seemed clean and organized, and most importantly the food was delicious. It was probably the gnocchi that we've ever had. Will definitely be back.

It never varies from top-quality food and service at reasonable prices. What else you want ?Such a small place puts out such a BIG result .. Always. We go there all the time because they never miss..
