Probably the most incompetent Wendy's I've ever been to. I've been here twice in the last month, and both times my order was incorrect, and both times, the person taking my order did not correctly identify my order, even though I spoke loudly and clearly several times. Both times, I had to closely examine what I was given to check that it was correct. Most recently, my order took so long that I left without my fries and drink and gave up on telling the person at the window I was missing food, even though I paid for the combo.
This was so dis organized and slow. 3 people who ordered after me got served before me and both had problems with their orders. One register for lunch hour and no where for people to line - up. Crazy. Warm food when we did get it all in 2 different times.
Was 5 star has to go to one. Inside closed making preordered food cold thanks for the cold chicken. I didn't even eat. Why they fingers all in my bags look at cam. Tell employees to wear stick sticks for their arms.
While we are all struggling with staffing issues this place seems to have found more than enough staff to run off any business they may get forever! I am positive I will not return to this wendy's. The staff here were so hateful and the food was so disgusting we ended up throwing it away. Save your money and skip Wendy's in Normal IL
You need to have customer service person now. Have your signs lit after dark. If somethings not working the sign you have posted outside is dangling in the wind nobody can read it and nobody knows what’s going on and half the time nobody can hear you over your PA system at the ordering sign. It’s pretty bad that a restaurant your size can’t fulfill service obligations.
Polite, courteous staff. Conveniently located just off College Avenue and Veterans Parkway. Plenty of parking. Food was warm and tasty. There inside is open again. Their Frosties are always smooth and creamy. We like the grilled chicken meal for a healthier option.
after a series of bad run-ins with this location over the years, i've finally vowed never to go here ever again. it's always a hit or miss if you'll get hot food, hell try even just the correct food. i usually always get a chicken bacon sandwich and there have been more than a few times they've forgotten to put the bacon on the sandwich. even if the food was good or right, the customer service is atrocious. i've been told that i couldn't have my beverage handed to me (it was already made, i watched them make it and saw it sitting on the counter waiting to be handed out) until my food was ready even though i explained to them i worked outside and needed something to drink. when i've brought back sandwiches to be made, they've literally looked at the sandwich and asked me what was wrong with it (this specific instance i ordered a chicken bacon guac sandwich and it was missing the bacon.....which was in the name of the menu item). they've argued with me about my orders before even after i've shown them receipt. they never offer to re-make things for you or offer your money back or offer to make up their mistake with a free item - absolutely nothing. so after MANY times of trying and every time ending with me walking away being disappointed, no more of my business or money will go there.
They weren't busy at all but it took forever to get my order. They forgot my fries so pulled me up and I waited a few more minutes. Got home our fries were cold and soggy. My double was a single, no condiments on any of our sandwiches and our spicy chicken was only crispy, not spicy... they even mixed up our drinks
All the comments/reviews I’ve seen for this Wendy’s is just crazy. Never seen one Business be so rude and immature about working. I know a lot of people say that they have worked in fast food at one point in there life time but the way people are now and then are completely different. I’ll tell you my experience at 1600 E college. I had my first day of work on a Monday I thought it was going to be ok. Nope, they are so slow that when they have down time they never clean, they have the worst attitude to customers. Overall that place is toxic. The last thing is I have to say I worked there for three days and they never paid me at all pay date was between 4/9 and 4/11 and still nothing making 12 an hour isn’t worth it in that place and just not worth going to that place they call a restaurant. P.S. WENDYS IM STILL WAITING FOR MY PAY..???
Came to get a meal for my toddler while on the road driving through the state. Staff was rude afffffff. No hi, hello, or anything. Snapped at us numerous times, which even made my son confused. We would've just left if we had the time to go else where. No one expects a 5-star experience from fast food, but come on.
