the food is very good here. the staff is friendly here. I did not have any problems. I enjoy my lunch here
Stopped i nfor dinner tonight since we were in the area. Menu sounded good, and there were quite a few things we wanted to try. My wife had the chicken pita special (with fries and a drink) and the Nutella pita. I had the falafel. We both liked our food; not the best but certainly not the worst. You order at the counter and they call your number when your food is ready. Overall OK place and since it's in a college town, the prices were not bad.
The most unprepared and agitated people I have ever experienced. They had such an attitude with me and no one actually provided QUALITY customer service. Overall horrible experience, I will not be back EVER!
The Rock holds a special place in my heart, as it was the location of my first date with my college sweetheart. They delivered great food and great service back then, and are doing the same many years later.
This was a very nice place. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. They had some vegan options which is terrific. It is in walking distance from Illinois State University. I had the gyro which was fantastic. My wife had the vegan wrap and my daughter had the cheeseburger and fries. All our meals tasted fresh and delicious. We will be back
Good gyros, but I found it a little dry. I like them wet! ?
I love this place! They make everything premium gourmet quality, even their fries are seasoned top shelf quality. Theirs jalapeño poppers are made with cream cheese not cheddar. Their tzatziki sauce is authentic and their gyro is so good. Their falafel sandwich is great too! Also their customer service is outstanding! The staff and manager/owner are so friendly and go above and beyond!
Stopped in while visiting family who live in the area. We were checking out the kids museum/play place down the street & came here for lunch. Food was good. My family who lives nearby frequents The Rock and says they are basically the only mediterranean food around. It isn't the best I've ever had, but was good. Was a bit disappointed to find that the fried mac and cheese bites were Kraft mac n cheese. I guess I always want friend mac n cheese to be a home-made mac n cheese lol. Otherwise we got the an order of the hummus & pita and I had the garlic chicken wrap. I'm not usually a big fan of french fries on my sandwich, but they weren't bad. The garlic sauce & chicken were great. My sister & brother in law really like their grape leaves,
Good vegan and vegetarian options. Their falafel are really good as are their french fries.
Love eating at The Rock. The food is great, I often have cravings for their fries.
