My girlfriend and I stopped here to try to eat lunch after her physical therapy. Even though the restaurant was only half full, they were struggling to seat people and get takeout orders out. The hostess was running around the restaurant and rarely at the front. Even though they had open booths, they said they were at capacity in the main dining room and were no longer seating people in booths. We waited 10 minutes to be seated in the half empty restaurant and then left.I am calling out THE OWNER on this one and NOT THE STAFF. It is pretty clear you didn’t have enough staff for your restaurant to open but decided to do it anyway. If you can’t operate then higher more staff or shut down for the day, don’t waste everyone’s time when you clearly can’t serve them.
Onion rings were delicious. My husband liked the fish and chips and our son enjoyed his burger. My burger was good. The fries? Cool and bland. They need to be salted right out of the frier.
The Turkey Burger dressed as a Red Robin Royal with the egg and extra was all good. Top it off with the bottomless fries and you leave with a stomach. I can never leave Red Robins without getting that Strawberry Milkshake.
Staff was all friendly and quick to service. However the seats we were sitting in were nasty. Lots of old food sitting in the corners of the booth. What madee notice was the terrible smell as soon as we sat down. I used to be a mechanic and the smell was that like people who let food rot in their cars. Kind of unpleasant for my first time eating at a RR
burger was good, service was terrible. they wasn't that busy and had plenty of wait staff. Had to go ask for more fries, and had to go get own to go box for wife's sandwich. I did more walking for thing's than my waitress did. good thing the check is on the computer tablet I'd probably still be there waiting to pay.
Red Robin is one of my favorites! I once tried the veggie patty and was blown away. It was a literal veggie patty, not imitation meat. I respect that. And actually enjoy the burger. I usually get the patty on the Whisky River burger, but I might switch back to a regular beef patty. It is still better on the Whisky River. Fries are okay, they are my least favorite style: Wedge. Stopped in for an early diner with family and absolutely loved the whole experience. Beer was perfectly paired with my burger as per their recommendations and I couldn't be happier.
We have long been fans of Red Robin and in the past ate there frequently. This week (4/14/22) was our first visit since the pandemic and we were so disappointed. We asked our server to check to make sure there was no MSG in our order as I am highly allergic to it. She said, "They aren't going to know that back there." We asked her to check to make sure as we've always been able to get that question answered in the past. She came back and said, "They have no idea. We get stuff in from places like the jalepeno coins and the salad dressing and they don't know what's in there."We left.
Burgers, shakes, and fries are always delicious. Today was our second visit and our server was the only one working and he was friendly and prompt regardless of the lack of staff support. My only critique was that the hostess was wearing way too much perfume. Food service professionals shouldn’t come to work wearing perfume or cologne as it detracts from the delicious smells coming from your kitchen.We will be back! ?
Not a bad burger. They're gimmick is unlimited sides. I like the salad, so that's a nice deal...if the waiter ever came back during the meal!! Also, why would you ever order take out here is the sides are "unlimited"??
