I have been here several times and I always liked it, didn't love it but I liked it. But the last time I was there I had some kind of green pork dish, it had some kind of green sauce, it was absolutely delicious. I just can't remember the name but I would highly recommend it. If you're there you'll find it, it had an odd name that would normally make you look right past it. But I'm telling you, you will not be disappointed with the pork in green sauce dish.....
This was our second visit, in the last few years. The last time we went it was so so, but there was something that called us back in again. Unfortunately that something is not the food. Place definitely has a very trendy vibe to it, But the food definitely seems to be a bit overpriced, and lack a bit in portion size. The gluten-free pasta, that came with nothing else, was $15, think about the mark up on that one. It was definitely portioned for one person, no leftovers were going to leave tonight. The pulled pork sandwich, not a lot of meat. At some point I pulled off half of the bun and used a fork and knife, just to feel that I was eating more than a bun. Better options.
I cannot say enough great things on this place! During my visit to this little town, I ate there three times. Two dinners and one brunch. I ordered the salad, margarita and pizza. The pizza was a game changer! The pepperoni was fresh and delish. I can’t wait to go back!Oh and the service from all bartenders was wonderful.
This is a solid place!! nice ambiance to the place, busy but not too packed. the service was great, food took a bit to come out but that's expected and not a problem at all. Food was good, but portions were a bit small for the price. I got the chorizo BLAT and greatly enjoyed it and the truffle fries were soooo good and salty.
Six of us came for lunch on Sunday at noon. We were lucky to be seated! They fill up fast. The salad I ordered had whole figs, generous slices of mozzarella, and prosciutto. The dressing paired nicely. Wow wow wow! Everyone was pleased with their experience. The service was friendly. Definitely recommend!
My Fiancée and I came to eat and have a few drinks. Service was excellent and appetizers and food were great. Good portion size and taste. We both had the smoked brisket and will definitely order it again. Huge draft beer selection and drink menu. Was my first time there and am looking forward to going back soon.
Steak and soup is pretty good. My friend and I enjoyed the meal!
My first visit to Medici's in Normal. Though I'm no stranger to the original Medici in Chicago. For years and years I've very much enjoyed the Medici atmosphere, "groovy" vibe, artworks and wonderful food in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago! Always excellent. The location in Normal is no less interesting inside. And I'll say I found the staff in Normal to be much in the same mindset as back in Chi-town. Really nice, laid back and helpful.I ate here with my brother— we had a great brunch. The food is delicious here in Normal!Of course I'm going back.
Traveling to the area for work and this spot is right around the corner. Great food and excellent service. My meal tonight was so good and it was complimented by the wonderful service that Carmella provided. She was by far one of the best servers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She was attentive, so pleasant and absolutely charming. Will definitely be back and hope to see her there. Kudos to her and this restaurant.
I got the pretzel appetizer and gnocchi entree. The pretzels were perfectly soft on the inside with a crispy light crust, and the beer cheese is a wonderful dip. The gnocchi was slightly dry/over-cooked, however the cream was flavorful yet not overpowering as gnocchi dishes can sometimes be.Fantastic beer selection but our waiter this time was not super helpful when navigating the beer menu. Luckily I know what kinds of beer I like, so I was able to pick a good one for me.
