Trash. Asked for a beef burrito & got some nasty left over beans. Gross & left me puking. Order was at 10pm Friday evening. La bamba is not what it used to be.

Excellent food. The daily specials are a great value. The quesadillas are huge, good and priced well. This is a family owned business. The place isn’t busy, but constant.
Desha is an absolute ANGEL! She was so kind and welcoming to us as soon as we walked in. Very odd that a Mexican restaurant would serve sushi but it kinda works really well considering it’s a college town. Either way, the sushi was great!!! Highly recommend and will be back!
Good authentic Mexican food at good prices, but the sushi is one of the best places in town. IKR you're thinking sushi at a Mexican restaurant???? But it's the truth, the 3 roll special is the best price in town and the rolls are awesome!!!
I love the food but they lie to me about when they're open all the time! It's 9pm and they're locked up. Just change your hours on the website or the sign. I'm driving all the way across town cuz you say you're open and you're not.
Honestly I had doubts about how good sushi from a Mexican restaurant would be, but it's the best sushi in town next to anju Above! I've gone several times now, just for the sushi and horchata (which strangely goes together quite well)
I really do like La Bamba. I enjoy the food. Nothing has ever turned me away because of that. But not once, twice, or even three times has this happened. 4 times I've attempted eat here and show up only to find it closed. The hours online and on their website have continually stayed the same for months, saying they close at 1 AM or later some days. I've showed up for lunch and dinner and have had the same issue. Please fix your hours!!! I can't give you my business because I don't even know when you're open!
I’m only reviewing the sushi: Easily one of the best places in town. I would compare it to Kochi located on college. Tons of rolls to choose from and they are excellently crafted and plated. Fresh ingredients and flavors are top notch. I honestly have never had the Mexican food here and have only ever gone for the sushi. Don’t let the fact that it’s in the same building with the same name as a college campus Mexican restaurant detour you. It’s amazing and I have tried every sushi place in town. And for the price you can’t beat it.
Best and most reasonably priced sushi in town! A great spot to go for a quick eat.
