Oh Avanti's.....such a staple in Bloomington-Normal. And they are still not open for dine in....nor every day of the week. It's a business decision, just sad and a bit annoying for the clientel.Still great product, but the loaves of bread are indeed a bit smaller.....as are the portions.
I love the gondolas. We stop here almost everytime we go home from visiting family. (We live in Indiana)

stopped in for a gondola, I grew up eating these when i lived in Peoria, loved them so muchsomething has changed with the bread recipe, didn't quite taste the same, though still goodwill stop in again if i am back in the area for work
Literally just ordered pizza for our techs and this is how it arrived after waiting 1hr for our pizza. Needless to say we are not happy with the service. This has happened 4 times now.
We always have a great meal. It's been years since we've eaten inside at either of their locations but we often get carry-out or delivery. We have a good experience about 90% of the time. Sometimes things are missing or not as we order but if we call they always make it right! The gondolas are definitely one of the best sandwiches in town and are great to stock up and use for lunches during the week for the kids!
The new pizza recipe is disgusting and ruined my dinner night especially since I ordered the large... I'd be satisfied with a refund but I know they won't give me one. Please go back to the old recipe

It’s a tradition after every tournament that we eat here. Still lives up to our expectations. I rate Avanti’s 5 stars.
