I just moved to town. I was looking for a a dog friendly restaurant with an outdoor patio. I found Wildwood Tavern on Fido and it did not disappoint. The staff and owner were incredible. These people took dog friendly to another level. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found a restaurant I can hang out with friends for great food & drinks, and a safe & welcoming place for my dog. Thank you for your kindness. Scout and I will see you soon.
Excellent food and excellent service. The owner/chef was so incredibly accommodating. All the food we ordered was fantastic, but extra praise for the cornbread, which is a must try. While on first glance, the menu seems meat-heavy, there are a lot of options for everyone. My friend declared the salad she had (made vegetarian) as “the best salad she ever had.” Great place, look forward to returning!
I really wanted to like it. The menu looks awesome. But I have truly never had food from a restaurant that is this bland before. It felt like salt or seasoning of any type is just not something they keep in the kitchen. I don't know how bacon wrapped jalapenos dipped in ranch could possibly be bland but it was. Couldn't even finish it.
This is a family owned business where you are immediately made to feel welcome. The food is phenomenal! I can’t list all that I have ordered but every meal I have had was delicious. Great atmosphere, great service and friendly, competent staff. I recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends. Wildwood Tavern is my happy place!
My family had a birthday party for me there and the owners and staff were wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the buffet and they were super cooperative about setting up. They even cleaned up! I would recommend!
Dig it! Stopped in with my wife, sat at the bar and got apps and beers. Pretty good beer selection with some local brews mixed in there, which I’m always a fan of. Smoked wings are great and so are the Texas Twinkie's! We will definitely be back.
Had brisket sandwich with fries and goose island portions are healthy. You'll have leftovers. Staff is friendly and polite welcoming always. It's my third time coming in since I moved into the neighborhood
Let me start with 'consistently good food'. The ambiance is a little confused, with dining at one end of the building, the bar in the center and a gaming offshoot at the north end. Can't address the bar service, since we eat in the dining area when we go. It doesn't feel warm and inviting, though, just a huge bar. Maybe more specific or intimate lighting would help. The restaurant section is generic; booths, tables and wood. Not special, but fine. Every item on the menu is GOOD food. Whatever you order, it's done very well. Desserts are made in-house and they're homemade-tasty.Service can be hit or miss, like most places these days. Make sure your server understands you do NOT want your entrees to arrive mere seconds after your 'appetizer'. That's part of providing good service... pacing the needs of the diner. But, let me say it again. The food here, whether it's bbq and cornbread, or burgers, or soup, is really good.Food's great, needs a little work on style and delivery. We go for the food.
Very good food and great service. Owners seemed really nice too
Staff was very friendly.Food was delicious and generous portion sizes as well.Prices were reasonable!Make it out to Wildwood if you're looking for a good meal. You will not be disappointed!Highly recommend!
