I look forward to coming here every time I’m home from University! I’ve gotten the NY Strip Steak sandwich twice and it’s my favorite; the steak is perfectly cooked and tender over a layer of avocado-pico on a french bread. I also recently tried the steak and fries (pictured here) and it was extraordinary. In fact, it’s even better than steak and fries I’ve had at other restaurants. Overall, I really love the food at thus place and recommend it to everyone!
Pretty good. However, the chicken sandwich was pretty mild, more sweet than any noticeable spice. If there was a hotter sauce on side, that would have been nice. The bulgogi taco, I would have liked to be cut up a bit more; the meat cut was not bite size. Besides this it was some good and interesting fusion cuisine. Presentation was great.
The food and service at Phoenix Flame is outstanding! The Bao-Bao Pork Belly Sliders are so flavorful and filling. Perfect place to enjoy good company, tasty food, and wonderful service!
I was impressed by the interesting variety of this seemingly simple fast food menu. From bulgogi taco (great Korean, Latin fusion btw), to absolutely delicious empanada variety as well as fresh salads, this place really delivered!!!!The owner Yanko and his family are great hosts.I’ll certainly be going back for more!
Great service and amazing food. The NY Strip Steak taco is perfect. It's $5 a taco, which may sound a little high in price, but you get 2-3 times the amount of meat as most places and it's way higher quality. Also, the hangover soup is delicious and is filled with flavor.
Found them by accident and glad I did. This is truly a hidden gem. Food was delicious and I will absolutely be ordering again. Unique flavors, great sauces and I’m gluten free and most of the menu is gluten free friendly
If you’re experiencing fine dining with unmatched hospitality you must be at Phoenix Flame. The care Yanko and his staff put into their fresh fare doesn’t stop at just the food, it’s seen in their dedication to serving the customer until you are completely satisfied. While I dined in this evening I was guided through the menu taking suggestions on what would best suit my pallet and given the backstory on how menu items have found their place. I knew then this wasn’t just a spot for a quick bite, but an establishment built on serious consideration on how to bring people and food together. Settling with both the Niles Hot Chicken and the John Hogan NY Strip Sandwich, Yanko was kind enough to cut them for us and serve each of them so we can have half of each. You can’t go wrong with either one, however if you don’t start your meal with the Martinez Cups you ARE doing it wrong! Phoenix Flame has a lot to offer and you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not going in and having your next meal there. Thank you Phoenix Flame, I surely will be back soon.
How many places have you been to in the winter and the tomatoes are as red as a fire truck? These people truly love creating quality food with healthy eating in mind. Everything is fresh, consistently great quality and they are always coming up with something new. Try it, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you've tried it already, go back and enjoy it again.
Visited Phoenix Flame after seeing so many good reviews both online and from friends and we were extremely impressed. Yanko recommended we try the Martinez Cups, John Hogan steak sandwich, and Niles Hot Chicken sandwich and all 3 were beyond excellent. We will definitely be coming back!
Great place with killer food and a super nice guy running it. Steak sandwich was awesome. Well worth stopping in! We'll be back for sure
