We went here for mothers day. It was ny first time here, and ket me tell you I loved it. The bread they bring to your table when you first sit down was amazing, so soft you could cut it with a butter knife. The food was so delicious and let me not forget to mention the bakery that sits in the middle if the restaurant and has so much variety to choose from. I will definitely be returning.

We last visited about 13 years ago before we moved out of Illinois. As a treat we went back for a visit and it was just as good. We especially appreciated the plexiglass panels giving people safe little bubbles to eat in. The food was excellent as always. My husband’s chopped steak was super and the needful and barley soup he said was amazing. I had a Monte Cristin; it’s probably 20 years since I had one and this one did not disappoint. The cream of potato soups was delicious too. It was nice to see that they still bring a selection of bread and muffins in a basket with butter, to each table while you wait. The muffins and rolls were great. Service was unobtrusive and very good, prices moderate and the dessert selection? Mouthwatering, but we restrained ourselves! I’m so glad it was still there!

Delicious homemade soup, delicious homemade dressing, delicious homemade food.I had the beaded pork tenderloin with mashed potatos. It came with salad, I had the creamy garlic dressing; soup, I had the chicken rice; and desert, I had rice pudding. They serve baskets of many kinds of bread at every tableTheir dessert choices are numerous and includes cheesecake, pie, cookies, you name it.They have daily specials and three to four homemade soups every day. The French onion is exceptionally delicious. This is a great place for a sit down meal. The prices are a little high but well worth it.They do not have sweet tea.

Old time favorite. Variety of different dishes, drinks and...of course pastries, cakes and donuts. Pleasant service with a side of humor that is very welcomed in these usettelling times.

Salad was good, pork chops was goodBut the picture of spaghetti is supposed to be “Alfredo” which was not even closeNot the best service not planning to get back there ever again

I tried to give you five stars but 4 and 3/4 is the best I could give. The food tastes good but could be better.I had the pork tenderloin. It was good but the gravy could have had a little more flavor. Mashed potatoes were excellent. One of the ladies had corned beef and cabbage..she said it was so-so. The other had the crusted white fish..again so-so.Very friendly staff. Prices not too bad. Atmosphere pleasant. Excellent bakery.Servings were very plentiful, but recommend quality over quantity. Table too crowded. Condense dinners to fewer plates. Downsize salad. Put side w/entree.

Use tt=o have everything in the menu but the last 3 times we visited they did not have calamari they should take it off,and the burger that I ordered was so small that one of the popular chain is bigger and is only 4 dollars not the price they here we will call before or ask before we seated if they have calamari

First time there with bae. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Delicious food.

This is hands down one of the best I’ve been too. Usually in a restaurant for every good dish there’s a bad one. Not the case here, everything was good quality and had the perfect flavor. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food that you are being served. The desserts are to die for and they have a huge variety. Make sure to come with an empty stomach because the food fills you up.

I made a special trip to the Omega just for their liver and onions. Perfectly cooked and delicious. I ordered the meal. There was so much food it was hard to finish it. But it tasted so good I couldn’t resist it including cheesecake for dessert.
