Friendly staff. They say hello when you walk in. Who does that anymore?The bagels are great. The bialy's are great. Get there before noon for best selection.
Stopped here on a whim, and WOW it was delicious! Toasted everything bagel, lox, red onion and veggie cream cheese. Absolutely fantastic!
Delicious sandwiches!! Highly recommended. Must give this deli a try, if you are in the area. No seating right now due to COVID-19, so all orders are takeout.

I love this place, but they stole the name?? Fake News!I've been eating the excellent bagels of all kinds, homemade lox spread, lox sandwiches, corned and pastrami since the early 90's here at Greenwood Deli, at the Skokie location and even in Northbrook before it closed. The quality in all locations has always been outstanding and the staff friendly and efficient.You won't find deli this good anywhere else in the Chicago area. Trust me - I've looked!
The best bagels and bialys in the Chicagoland area. They have delicious veggie, chive, and plain cream cheese. Bagels and bialys are always fresh, this place never disappoints. Must try.
The bagles from here are the best in the area. The sandwiches are just meh. Stay away from the potato salad enless you like being disappointed then get it
Delicious food and wonderful service! Everything from their bagels, to the sandwiches, and sides are fantastic. Have had most of the menu at this point. The employees pay attention to each order and it shows! Would here everyday if I could!
As a native New Yorker I can say from experience that these are genuine boiled and baked bagels. Unlike Einstein Bros.As a result these are much closer to New York style than just about anywhere else in the Chicago area.
