I know it might sound silly, but I had a picture perfect great tasting hot dog with everything. We also had a burger that my wife said was so tasty. Fries crisp and delish. The Italian sausage with sweet peppers was nice and bun was soft and fresh.
I got the steak sandwich dinner which consisted of a long, charcoal-grilled skirt steak between two halves of about ten inches of French bread, crinkle-cut fries, and a side salad. The steak was outstanding. I squeezed some bbq sauce on it but it was quite flavorful on its own. The skirt steak was actually quite a bit linger than the bread so it they folded it for a double thickness. Really decent steak at a sandwich price.
This was my first time at this place .I saw the sign that said famous steak sandwich, So I ordered 2 for my wife and I. I ordered them with garlic bread and grilled onions. I got home hoping my wife would enjoy it. I ordered medium rare for both they were very well done ,no Garlic bread no grilled onions. I was happy that I found a good place for carry out or dine in . It wasn't busy at all at 11:29 am it was order # 17. What I thought would be a great steak sandwich and so don't judge a book by its cover . I won't go There again
Visited Niles to see family and friends. Used to live in Niles. Always enjoy Booby's steak sandwiches. Ordered 12 sandwiches to go. Took them back home to Kansas to enjoy with our family. Taste has not changed. Still terrific sandwiches along with the cole slaw and french fries. Its like visiting an old friend when you bite into those sandwiches.
Always order at the location. They have a GREAT turkey club and blt. I hate tomatoes but I'll eat them here. Idk if they grow their own vegetables but they are super fresh every time I go over the last decade. The coleslaw is really nice as well. Had the cheese burger recently and really enjoyed it.
Food is mostly good, service can be hit or miss. One time I saw the employees openly fighting with each other like a family feud. But I go back for the food definitely
cashier looked and sounded extremely depressed, I seriously suggest therapy or counseling. as for the food, sorry there's no freaking way that steak sandwich is $20 quality it's really mediocre and bland. I assumed they would offer some kind of steak sauce or cheese option, but no it's just meat and bread and the meat ain't that great!
All good but forgot to mentioned dressing for the salad to be on the side because they put it on for you and it was too much. Friendly staff!& awesome they refill drinks !!
Steak sandwich was ok but not worth 19.99. Baked potato was nothing to write home about. The dinner salad with Greek dressing amazing!
