If I had one complaint it would be this place is too darn busy, especially the drive thru, forget it. Other than that, what’s not to like about this place. The burger are fantastic never mind the hot dogs, best in the country! I used to love their garbage salad, would get one almost every day. When they stopped making them, I stopped going. I was disappointed to say the least. The cakes are great, so are the shakes. Salads are all good as well but I no longer eat them after they discontinued the garbage salad. I don’t eat beef sandwiches but I’ve heard these are great too. Fries are decent. This location is very clean as are the washrooms. Great staff, nothing but good things coming here.
I normally enjoy their beef sandwich. Very disappointed with the quantity of beef on my last visit. Has something changed? You increased your prices and reduced the size of the sandwich. Perhaps the new owners are relying on the reputation Vic built. I hope this doesn't continue. We also purchased a family sized Chopped salad on Mother's Day and it was much smaller in volume. I understand that costs have gone up! Do you have to decrease the portion sizes too?

Stopped while traveling, wasn't terribly impressed. Perhaps we ordered the wrong items, but their chili cheese dog was ok, Chicago bowl was fine, their Sausage and cheese croissant was soggy and terrible. The man read the wrong number on the bag 3 times and we stood there staring at what we thought was our food for 10min before he finally looked back in the bag and read off 3 numbers, one of which was ours.Nice to stop just to say you stopped. Otherwise I'd pass.
Can never go wrong with Portillo's. They have a great variety of items on their menu. We love their cheeseburgers, beefs, hot dogs, polish, etc. ... we just love it all. You have to try their fries with a cup of cheese on the side. YUMMMM
For the past few months this place has been going down hill, but today was the day that I’m making a review because this is ridiculous. I get it Sunday evenings are busy, we went inside to order to go. Not only did they not give us our Malt, but the one bag fell on the counter and half the fries fell out. Mind you the employee made the bag fall. We asked for more fries and good thing we did because they forgot a fry.. I understand mistakes happen. But while we were waiting on our order someone else never got their cheese, a couple other people didn’t get the correct orders or also had missing items. This place use to be my favorite but it’s ridiculous.. or I just went to go drink my malt and it’s pretty much melted...
Could not be happier with the experience I just had with my wife and daughter. Food was amazing as always staff was super friendly to mention a few names Lexi and Gerald were outstanding. On the way out ordered some onion rings for my old man had an odd request due to his medical condition that they gave us only small onion rings and Lexi and Gerald made it happen! Thank you very much guys I'll be back soon!
Foods okay but 2 out of every 3 times we order they forget something. and yeah they offer to fix it, but it shouldn’t happen in the first place. And I get that you go through employees like a boy in puberty goes through socks, I used to work there. I know. But it’s been the same issues for years.
Poor customer service. This is happening at EVERY Portillos. I hoped this location would be different… and it wasn’t. They forgot part of our order and our fries were ice cold. It’s not a hard concept. Get it together.
they need to hire competent employees and ones that don't try to milk the clock on every order
