Excellent experience for a large family event! The service was wonderful as was the food! Lots of great authentic Italian choices, can't go wrong here!
So, bad experience at the end... not sure how they do it. Most restraints change out there bread regardless! But when we first said down, one small loaf of three pieces cold. Then asked for new got three new warm pieces, and left the old one in there. Now, they weren't terribly busy. So, unfortunately not bening for extended period of time not a great experience.
I placed a Togo order for my salad 10 min before my break, they said it would be ready in 10 min. Perfect. 45 minutes later; my lunch is over and my salad is not ready yet. When I finally got my salad, I took it back and find they they gave me no fork or napkins. The bread came with no butter and the dressing was half empty. I wouldn’t write a review if this was a one time mistake; but this has happened multiple times.
Have been meaning to put this out for some time. Gatto's is hands down, a great restaurant. Frank and his team are excellent, we have been going there since it opened and we feel like family when we walk in. Food is always good, portions are generous and its a good environment no matter the occasion. Owner Frank is great, Charlotte is our favorite server and Steve behind the bar somehow remembers everyone's names.
Wonderful place. The food and service were fantastic. The meat sauce has a sweetness to it that I really liked. The minestrone had a little spicy heat and the bread was fresh and hot with a crusty exterior and soft middle. Server was very nice and friendly.
Read reviews before choosing this place. I ordered the lasagna, husband ordered butt steak. Both were really good. Will come back.
Had my daughter’s baby shower here today. From the day we booked it to today everyone was wonderful and everything went great! We were in the atrium and it was beautiful. Thanks to Frank, Lori and Connor for making this day such a great one.
Great food! Only downside is there's no physical menus. So after the 3rd time asking our waitress what comes on a certain plate she looked annoyed. Like I was a bother. And honestly I sorta felt like that. I just ordered whatever at that point.Just print out some menus please!!
Food ***Service *****Ambiance *****Price *****We’re regulars here, food is good. The ambiance feels somewhat like Bucca de Beppo, very cozy, Italian style place, definitely a good vibe. I order the garbage salad regularly and noticed for the first time they reduced the size of it. So I got a smaller version than normal. One of our other spaghetti plates needed to be “enhanced” because it was so bland. It was fixed. I gave 3 stars for the food because it’s inconsistent, sometimes better than other times, seems to be random. Prices are reasonable, get a good quantity of food.
HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD!I’ve been here before a few time and in the past it was ok. Today I decided to take my cousin there for dinner and I had a totally different experience. First of all there was no one at the front entrance to greet us, so we sat at the bar. The bar tender wasn’t busy but she took for ever to bring us our drinks. She kept talking to someone at the other end of the bar. She assumed that I wanted a draft beer instead of bottled beer. I wanted a Stella in a bottle. After waiting for so long I just drank it even though she claimed something was wrong with the tap. She didn’t know how to pour a draft beer correctly. Someone else came and took our dinner order. We ordered the calamari and wanted a nice steak. They were supposedly out of the bone in rib eye and the New York. This server said he would take care us and give us some nice filets and some shrimp. Sounded pretty good. I asked for my appetizer at least 3 times. Bar tender said order is in. Server brings the appetizer and the steak the same time. Steak was ordered medium and it came burnt/well done for both of us. They also tried to pass off some other kind of steak as our filets, I believe it was the butt steak. Regardless they ruined our dinner and no one didn’t seem to care. The manager didn’t even come over or say a word to us. They offered to remake the steaks but I didn’t want anything else from this place. I asked for my bill paid it and left.I will not be recommending this place or will I ever go back again!
